Owl's Eyes

by @pippa

Feb 16   folk mandolin tune celtic original tunes oldtime tunes

Liner Notes

The tune came about the day before Valentine’s Day. Temperatures were at a high of zero, unusual in Missouri. The tune became very complicated and then was ruthlessly simplified. The name comes from an image of a cassette tape via the shadowology of Vincent Bal.

What a perfect, uplifting melody to begin the day with, along with coffee and a view of the bird feeder. Thank you!

This is a jaunty little mandolin tune. Great how you can hear the chord changes when it’s only s single line melody
