blueone: I got the Les Paul out for this one; so it's got a bit of a darker sound than my other stuff. Less jangle, but tried to keep up that 'wall of sound' vibe. I found the lyrics super relatable; a lot of my own reflect fragility, so it didn't feel weird to sing at all. Big, big fan.
tc: I can't believe how this turned out. I'm amazed. And grateful.
My white knuckle grip on the rail
The world spinning 'round and around
Muscles so tense they might fail
Before I get back to the ground
Sweat floods my hands, pits and knees
My head is starting to pound
My life is a shaky trapeze
My heartbeat dampens all sound
My love, my life and my plans
All seem to be going to waste
How much can one man withstand?
What more can one man dare face?
