There's this fascinating old piece of property near where I live. It made a singular impression and I had discussed it with Cindyrella who now wrote the lyrics. And now I have prepared the first version of the audio track.
EDIT: Now I tried to sing it myself though I'm not much of a singer.
EDIT: New mix with more reverb and a more vintage though less muddy overall sound
She watched from a window
So much she could see
High and hidden
Like a bird in a tree
Nobody knew her
Though whispers were spread
Who could she be
Was she alive or dead?
You couldn't tell with the garden so overgrown
You couldn't tell even if she were alone
You couldn't tell except for the light
Gleaming in a window every single night
With her many cats and Bohemian ways
She enjoyed everyone of her days
She watched the world go by at a frantic pace
Knowing she had found her ideal place
