Another collab with #grenzgaengerin . I just love her flute! There is this thing between organic and synths that I think is delicious. Hope we can do more. Engebretsen.
Very nice. The bass line at the beginning (and thru most of the song) brings to mind the drum intro to the song, Bolero by Ravel and I love that piece. I hear snippets of it in this song.
So this is a winner in my eye.
It must be your classical training coming through. BRAVO>
Very nice textures
The first bars of this sounds like the theme tune for a children's tv show in the 70s. Then the synths take over from the flute and drag the listener to an eighties SF show. Then back to the kiddy adventure and so on. Lovely stuff! I didn't go on holiday last year, but you two took me on a journey, thanks!
This was a fun listen, dig the flute overlaid on the synths, well done!
Has a bit of an Irish sound at times. I love the "throbbing" bass tones. Kept my interest with all the different things going on throughout. 😀
The bass sound is great. Contrabass? And again great flute. Really nice..
A mixture between cheeky and mysterious - it reminds me of the fairytale films I loved in my childhood!
You are right about the organic, it is delicious.
Extremely well mixed and balanced. As sparse as it needs to be. Excellent
This feels a bit like a Pavane or Sarabande, a slow court dance because of the striding bass. You're right: the flute and the synths work good together. Nice collab
oh, Mr Engebretsen - you surprise me at work... 😀
I hope too - we can do more - we have a similar sense towards epic, melancholy and love of mixing synths and instruments. I really enjoy making music with you.
Indeed! Would love to hear more of this type of stuff. Upright bass, flute and which synth?
