Lyrics:
Like A Phlame in a Fire
You turn me haywire
Just a bit of my desire for you.
Okay Okay I’m Rolling, I’m Riding.
I’m flexing while driving.
You know when I come through
there best be no problem.
I miss you
I’ve been having these thoughts
Okay Okay I’m Rolling, I’m Riding.
I’m flexing while driving.
You know when I come through
there best be no problem.

finally! Gonna spend the morning here with your excellent music.... and I have newly grinded coffee beans to boot.. whoo!
Man those effects on the vocals are so good! love the crisp beat and the chorus effect on the those .. not "aah" sections but you know what I mean! and that awesome effects on the chorus vox...
I've been looking forward to listening to your music all FAWM Sean; so glad you are here and kicking ass...

Whedep Sean... Purdy dope track brotha, oddly enough I did write like 11 songs last February, right before joining the Dojo, but I had no idea about the FAWM... I just felt inspired... which is somewhat odd in retrospect... all this song writing energy musty be contagious.. like Yawnig, only Fawming...

Welp. First vocal fx'd vocal run and I knew I'd found something I'd be super-digging.
I'm loving the production. Super clean. Super tight. Excellent mix. Wonderful glitched sound choices. Then the hard fx'd vox with the soulful "Like a Phlame..." parts.
Nice flow on the rap.
Excellent vocal sample manipulation.
The groove on the drum pattern and the bass is making my neck hurt. I also appreciate the breakbeat over top in certain sections.
And speaking of sections, you never let any one section drag or get repetetive.
This is simply an amazingly produced track.
Loved this.

A very special tune. I am not sure if I like it or not.... But there is some mystery here. I think I put the thumbs up.
@mdavisto Feb 3
The lazy roll on these beats is what makes this for me. Makes the whole thing so much tastier. You got dem skills.
@psyt Feb 2
Great production chops on display here, the rhythm is great, as is the sound design. Hip hop is not my bag, and yet I still love this.
@rockstarsmd Feb 2
Lovely groove, solid song. I'm crazy jealous of your production skills!
@phlex Feb 2
ohh man, I'm looking forward to hearing this!
woah yeah, that beat. the gurgling sounds are so wild. melodic percussive loops are awesome! mix is tight - so well balanced. the stereo image is exciting.
those reversed kind of melodic loops are so nice to hear. vocals are 👍 . love the differing vocal treatments - tasteful glitching - fx are like a party - so much going on. an adventure of an experience!
@oddbod Feb 2
150 BPM? surely not.
Plenty of great inventive production touches. The arrangement is constantly shifting and morphing and that keeps the freshness going throughout. Terrific beat and vibe. I get a bit of a Washed Out feel.
Cool stuff and very epic sounding.
@shortdan Feb 2
Super slick production job here! Unreal for 3 hours work!! Big fan of all the glitchy stuff. Ditto all the varied and original vocal treatment. Very impressive opener!
@blv3 Feb 2
Next level production!
@samplebandit Feb 2
impressive production. the bass rising and turning into an arp ... wow!
@phenola Feb 2
Nice breaks, mate.
Suddenly I feel like I'm a student listening to pirate radio in London all over again. So long ago now. Sigh.
@kissinginpublic Feb 2
That’s so big and bouncy! I always like how your mixing/mastering engulfs the listener... So immersive. Everything’s so tight in this one - lots going on but restrained and melodic. Very cool.
@glasscrow Feb 1
Really beautiful movement in this beat.
@thelowestbitter Feb 1
THREE HOURS? Amazing production as usual from you. Love that skittering sort of beat, and that synth that comes in around the 50 second mark is huge. Love the super effected vocals throughout, they sound fantastic. My favourite song so far from my first day's listening, I love it.
@evinwolverton Feb 1
Yo, it's *ridiculous* that you found and locked that groove alone in 3 hours, let alone kept it this dynamic AND added this much performance too. Loving your style. That iLL Gates listening is doing you right.
@saucerdrum Feb 1
Wow! I really like the shaker or hi hat percussive element and how you sidechained it so it keeps flowing and moving. Sounds like you did the same with the melody. I like the slow attack on those. Great work!
@ginomakesmusic Feb 1
Wowza. This goes pretty dang hard, I'm bopping. Thanks for sharing!
@mikeskliar Feb 1
That's quite an evocative production there... bubbling, sliding and groovin'... I don't know much about this whole genre, but great job!
@vomvorton Feb 1
Great production, really like the unusual rhythm and the vocal processing!
@bradbrubaker Feb 1
With the bubbling vocal effect, this gives me a feel of slow floating while things speed around at double-time. Great start! Where do you find these other voices for your stuff?
