But lyrics and song content belong to the fawmers who wrote them!
acid downtempo electronic vocal synth fawmtronica
This silly lyric came to mind yesterday, and I started working on the song itself today, at the minute FAWM started. 😀
You can use your tongue
It could be a whole lot of fun
It feels so right it can't be wrong
So please just use your tongue.
I dig how you keep adding sounds - I wish I had headphones to fully appreciate this one, but it's a supercool song even without them.
Such a hypnotic groove - I'm quite mesmerized. And you do a whole lot vocally with that nifty little poem of a lyric.
The rhythm and ethereal sounds work really well together on this. Love it whenever the snare hit kicks back in. Effected synth vocals work perfectly with the whole vibe.
Absolutely love the sub/bass line underpinning everything. It's so - and this is not a word I use particularly often - PHAT! Then the percussion (samples or live??) - it basically sounds like you're hitting everything within reach in your kitchen. Your vocal, and the way you've processed it - again, just very cool! And love the way it just keeps relentlessly building, totally kept my engagement for the full 8:12 😀
Beautifully produced and some great sounds, synths and builds. Really cool sound! Especially liked when it got quite industrial with those metal cymbal sounds. So effective. Really well done!!
Very dystopian yet sensual. Your subtle and careful vocals suit the mechanic rhythm and landscape-y instruments well.
This is awesome!! The close vocal real cool and the metallic samples as well as the cycling bass are really cool. Taking it to an early Bjork type space that I really love AND plus vocoding...killer. I’m digging the trip-hop type pacing as well. Great work!
Yay, I missed hearing your music. I like the minimal, mysterious intro to this one. And of course that signature build up of yours throughout the song keeps it interesting throughout. It's great to hear lyrics with your music as well! What a great start.
As it starts, I'm lulled into what I sense will become a false sense of calm. The chopped vocals are dope. There's a sizzle on "It feels so right it can't be wrong" that's sensuous, delicious. The acid is so subtle but that's the way I likes me acid. You're doing amazing things with the vox four minutes in.
Loving the tempo, not sure why but I've been writing much slower stuff so far this year too. I didn't want this to end. I'm soooooo glad you're back, you've always been an inspiration.
Oh my goodness! I love the Gregorian Chant beginning! Nice use of space and harmony. Beautiful! ❤️❤️
Woh! This is naughty...or is it? Could be interpreted as an invitation to try psychedelics...or...it could be an invitation to sexy time. Or both? Either way these lyrics captured my attention. I really love the experimental composition and psychedelic vocals...really captivating. Really nice job on this..this is super unique sounding! Can't wait to hear what you make next! 😀
Lovely atmosphere right from the beginning with those choir synths. Interesting vocal treatment that emphasizes mouth sounds, but it totally works. Totally reminds me of synth stuff from the late 90s and the sounds are just perfect. Like that switch up at 6:10.
first of all; love your suspension pics!
Love the sound and how driving this is; doesn't seem like 8 minutes at all. Lots of interesting sounds and movement; hard to pick out a "favourite" really... so I'll just say that the whole thing is great 😀
Oh wow! I read the four lines of lyrics then saw the 8 minute length and thought "well I have to listen to this". This was a great track, it didn't feel like 8 minutes since it was so enjoyable. I loved the vibe and the vocal passages sounded great. I really like these sort of tracks. Well done!
How on earth did you weave an 8-minute masterpiece around that little lyric? You mention that as casually as if it could have evolved in no other direction. It's amazing.
I feel like a monk of Solesmes whose rations have been spiked with acid. What a trip. Amazing song.
Love that percolating bass line. Here's to cunning linguists everywhere!
Love the build - you've really found a groove and niche for your music and I could definitely recognize it as your style!
