Soothing, and something you can just kind of curl up inside. I like the play on the idea of a clock... the fingerpicking is very regimented in terms of note length and the repetition of the phrase, but it all it has this free time kind of feel to it.. on a musical level it feels very much like simultaneous acceptance and rejection of those ordered parts of life, which I find echoed in the lyric. It does feel like an interstitial piece from a larger whole, but a perfectly wrought piece at that.
