I was working on this song and got the chords and a melody line, but I didn't record it before I broke my shoulder. I deliver this here to at least show that I've done this work. I hope that I can recover the memory of the melody line once I can get back to playing.
Find My Own Speed
It's (G)okay to not (C)think, it's (G)okay to (Am)breathe
It's okay to watch the (Dm)wind move through the trees
The (G)world moves at its own (C)pace
And (G)secretly a faster (Am)race
And (C)I need to (D)find my own (G)speed
(Am)What's my (Bm)breathing?
(C)How's my (G)body?
(C)What's going (D)on in (G7)there?
Do I (D7)listen to (A)myself and (C7)gently give it (GSus4)care?
It asks for sleep, it asks for rest
And food to keep it going
It wants to stop and set a while
And share its silent knowing
To move, to walk, to see the world anew
To laugh, to cry, to feel its energy
To pulse with a life and move it through
And find my place in the flow
