Went on holiday to Northumberland at the weekend. Went to Linhope Spout. It was lovely.
When I have time, people!
Feels like a summer driving song with that backbeat. Interesting vocal melody and engaging guitar pattern keep this song moving through to the end.
You have a real knack for interesting guitar here, and on the last track of yours I listened to. Nice bass, too - sounds like guitar and bass dancing with each other.
I'm giving a second listen to pay more attention to what you're doing vocally. It's quite poetic, even if I can't make out every word. Very cool song!
Really enjoyable song. The opening riff is really nice. I like the alternation of slight dissonance with mellow chords in the latter part of this.
This has a cool, kind of Vampire Weekendy or Graceland-era Paul Simon bubbly bounciness (I mean that in a complimentary way) but with a more discordant edge that's really pleasing. Very nice, I wish I could put together such intricate guitar/bass parts like this.
Yeah, the work between the bass and guitar is so, so good. The lyrics have that nostalgic feel to them (despite you only being there a few days ago!).
More lovely interlocking bass and guitar. Love the switch up around 40 seconds, and the softer vocals in the second half of the song. Great!
Excellent excellent guitar and bass tangle here.
Lovely noises are entering my ear holes.
