This came about as I remembered a quote to the effect of 'writing about music is like dancing about architecture' (ie, kind of impossible). I was in a post-valentines' mood thinking about 'love' as a concept and the opening line came and just rode that spirit all the way thru.
Bit of a weird recording, I used 'music memos' to add drums to an iPhone recorded guitar, harmonica and vocal all done live at once. Then in the iphone garageband, after realizing the vocal was not loud enough, just did another vocal track, and now the vocal may be too loud, but at least it gets the sense of the track across.
Writing about love- Is like dancing about architecture
to write about love is like naming the color of air
You can read all the books and attend all the lectures
the only way to get close- Is to just be there
da da da da da da da….
Trying to describe love is like the taste of a sunset
The feel of a symphony, or the smell of a prayer
The feeling’s inside but the words are somewhere in Tibet
The only way to get close is to just be there
