I've started numerous songs over the last few days but I couldn't get anywhere with any of them, so I decided to do something completely different to blow the cobwebs away.
I was gonna add loads of synths to this but I went percussion crazy instead.
I've been reading the excellent Meet Me in the Bathroom by Lizzie Goodman, which is an oral history of the early 2000s New York music scene (The Strokes, Interpol, Yeah Yeah Yeahs etc). One of the people that it focuses on is James Murphy, who is LCD Soundsystem and produced the amazing House of Jealous Lovers by The Rapture. I was kind of going for his style here.
Hopefully this will get me over the mid-FAWM hump open the floodgates again!

With bigger brains
Almost the same
