rock 12-bar-blues guitar-solo
My friend asked me if I've done a 12-Bar Blues song and I was like ppppfff of course not. Then I was like wait...that'd be fun.
I broke a string right at the end but it had to stay, that's Rock 'n Roll after all.
rocker, I dig'd how it came out the gate strong and rocky. great feel. nice build.
Never have there been such sweet music heard in the banks of Kalajoki, for sure. Nice sound and attack in the solo and great groove. This one hangs together really well and, again, has an exciting live band dynamics to it that is really rare, especially in bare-bones Fawm demos. Like it a lot. 😀
Man that's a beautiful work here! Gawd I wish I could make 12 Bar Blues hahahaha. Look at what is happening at the 1:00 mark. Legendary stuff Kantilla. Always a treat to hear your stuff haha!
This reminded me of a British band Status Quo, who once they'd discovered that exact rhythm you have here, used it on every song they ever did in a career lasting 50 plus years. This was good to listen to but I hope you won't do that!
Have you thought of doing guitar solos for people while you are waiting for inspiration for the songwriting? I did it some years back (under a different name). Start a thread in the forums - "Anyone want a guitar solo?", it will keep you playing and motivated, and may even provide that spark you need?
I usually hate blues stuff, but the guitar solos here make it all worth it. Love the squeaky parts and the breakdown and the big finish ... parts reminded me of Billy Gibbons. Breaking a string proves it really rocked!
Rock'n 12 bar. Great stuff!
See You In The Shadows…
That's tasty at :41...quite.
This stuff I can listen for hours straight. Love this kind of jammy blues, either more on the rockish side or straight up bluesy.
Great soloing. When I hear soloing bluesy/rocky guitar, I have to stop and listen.
I'm imagining the bot (Gundam? I know nothing) playing this blues and it makes it even more enjoyable.
Excellent 'bring it down' then build back up in the second half.
Rockin'...good solid 12 bar blues... a little bit of solo now...solo...sounds cool. I sound like this too but less polished...nice little riff there...very solid track...break part now...sounds great...nice sounding guitars. That's killer...guitar solo...I heard the bass and drums...solid...ending. That's cool Kurtis. I hope you have guitar strings. I didn't notice anything...lol. Seriously, this is really good work.
Great job, classic 12 bar!
