This song was inspired by recent images of our sun by the
Daniel K. Inouye solar telescope. The largest solar telescope in the world.
Chords: Am, C6/F, G(3), F(3), G(3), F/Dm, G
That is beautiful, Mike.
I love how the piano and guitar work together, and those chords are great!
The detailed footage of those gigantic convection cells was truly awe-inspiring stuff; the music has a gentle quality to it that suits taking in the view from a comfortable distance through a telescope. Up close, I'm sure the experience would be considerably less restful!
Really feeling the beautiful piano underneath the bright guitar - cool chords that just sound great strung together in my opinion.
(I shall steal them! lol jk...maybe 😀 )
Due to your liner notes, I'm thinking of the sun as I listen. All I can see is little bursts and splashes spring up from the surface, corresponding with the guitar melodies. And somehow in my mind, the piano makes me visualize space itself.
Despite the pluckiness of the lead, this really relaxed me.
Love the tones of your guitar and piano. And they interveave and dance together so nicely.
very moody and beautiful, great track!
Great intro to another FAWM day. Good job
Lovely melancholic feel. Captures the feeling I get when I look at the stars and night sky and feel wonderfully insignificant. Combo of piano and guitar works well!
It's so spacious and distanced, but connected. Wonderful!
Beautiful song Mike, feels sad to me, perhaps regretful. Paints a picture of someone who reflects on mistakes from the past which still haunt him/her. Amazing how in under 2 minutes piece you gave so much...
Beautiful, Mike! 😀
I really like the mood you've created with this one. And your choice of instruments is perfect for this. 😀
It's easy to close my eyes and imagine a space and time...and drift into another place! Nicely done. I enjoyed it.
Fantastic chill instrumental that transports me to a lovely headspace. The keys and strings work so beautifully together. Beautiful phrasing.
Nice piece of music. Very relaxing as i sit listening near the Beach on a warm sunday afternoon. Perfect!
Sweet! I used to drag immediate and extended family to Mars parties, etc. This reminded me of a trip to CT for such an event where everyone brought and shared their telescopes of various qualities, etc. but we also went in and viewed with the large telescope inside. I can only imagine what it would be like to look through the largest one! Nice musical atomospheric tones throughout. Really like this one!! 😀
I can hear this with a time lapse of the universe. Good job, my friend.
Very contemplative feel. Enjoyed it a lot!
That guitar/piano jam is one to get carried away by. Contemplation jam to me 😀 Very nice indeed.
