I hope someone wants to join this challenge writing a song from an image, to see what it inspires to. Probably some very different results. Anyone wants to do this?
Here´s the image, a piece of art

noone I´m so sad and feel so ignored - I´m gonna start crying arh ha ha ha aaaarrrrrhhh ha ha ha.
I guess I´ll just have this thread to myself then, me and myself in intelligent and lovely company 😀 😀 😀

It's upside down! I think it would be a cool challenge but each person chooses (and posts) an image they have used as the prompt. ( or a random one from say a certain art gallery which might be interesting as there be some scope to check out different paintings and see what was inspirational. I did something like this in an art gallery with sculpture once and it prompted a really interesting experience .

That's a cool picture and a really nice idea! Maybe if I finish the concept- story album I'm working on in time I can come back to this for a one off song for your challenge. I really like the idea of it!

Just a question: is the challenge based on the image you are referring to on your link or can we chose the image?

  • @factorytale Feb 14

@bootlegger @bootlegger @musicsongwriter thanks all three of you. Let's just say we chose an image ourselves and post it here with our songs 🙂

  • @factorytale Feb 14

@bootlegger that's fine, you are welcome at the time that fits in

this is the image (two boats)

and here is my song (it may be a bit simple, but I felt liking making something very simple like this)

Thank you for your challenge and your amazing song I've just listened to. I still hear it in my head. It's very powerful. Sounds like a song from a very sad movie.
Here is the image which I found inspiring:
