Visited Seattle this summer. Would love to come back. Great city and some really cool used instrument stores and great used music stores.

Hi Fawmers. Working with Snohomish County Parks to hold a musical popup at Lord Hill park this summer. Date TBD. The concept is sharing acoustic music in a forested grotto (Wayne's World/Hidden Pond trail) for a good portion of one day. What a great way to showcase our upcoming creations and the FAWM process. LMK if you'd like to join us so that I can establish a solid date and timeframe. Best, Kim @heretcband

No love for the east side, eh?
That's ok. I don't like it over here either. The Tri-Cities is DULL. I'll take an excuse to go westward anytime!

I'm down in Pierce County, south sound.

I haven't put anything together for this year yet for a post-FAWM thing. I was thinking of picking an already existing Open Mic and suggesting everyone go to it (hopefully one that isn't too popular already) sometime in mid-March. Any ideas?

slots at open mike ususally fill up very quickly, so if yuo pick an existing one, some people might not get to play. i would suggest going to a place that has a popular open mike and ask if you could have a special open mike on a day when nothing is booked. another suggestion for the seattle area is to see if you can book a sunday afternoon at the fremont history house in the sculpture garden during their summer music series.

I got it together and there will be an New Song Open Mic FAWM celebration in Seattle March 22 from 2-4pm at the Wedgwood Ale House Pool Room. There is a chance we will get some folks who weren't posting on this site but doing their own person FAWM.
