Influences: Oh, so many! Folk music, filk music, celtic music and a lot more.
I'm a writer of science fiction, fantasy, and songs as well as a musician. I loves cats and chocolate, and have a nice collection of acoustic instruments.
I can also be found as Wyld_Dandelyon on Twitter and DreamWidth, and on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Wyld_Dandelyon
I've decided this year to at least try to post songs with demos instead of just lyrics, though I might post lyrics to Patreon before I have a demo. Or maybe not. But I found in previous FAWMs that people rarely had time to circle back and listen to a demo when they'd already commented on just-the-lyrics, and besides, it's good to have the whole thing properly memorialized.
I don't have lots of skill with recording. I am pretty sure everything I do qualifies as an acoustic-one-take, at least so far.
Update: It's been so great everybody. Wow--32 songs, and a bunch of song fragments besides. And I listened to so many songs too. SO
MUCH MUSIC! Thanks, everybody!!!
Thanks for the kind words on "As the Sun Goes Down", I only started doing multi track stuff a few years ago out or necessity. I wanted full arrangements to release stuff but didn't have a band or money to afford to pay people so I started teaching myself and still do so. If there's something I want I google and watch videos on how to get he sound I'm looking for.
Thanks for listening and commenting on my song "One Kiss", I appreciate it!
Zoom live performance Sunday info added.
Wobbie will post link to zoom

ah! I think that would be a great idea! just adding more percussion to that. and just on anything that happens to be "handy" as well π€£ One long superskirmish this last 50/90 I just used the same 4chord progression and rhythm for about 5 or 6 in a row. I've yet to mash them altogether, but a few of them will end up going together pretty nicely. It worked well for me since I usually only end up writing a few lines at a time.
thanks for the autoharp info!
I struck out on my own, @wylddandelyon , and visited the lovely Cathedral πΊπΈπΌπ³π²π³
Thanks, @wylddandelyon ! I just signed up for tit4tat. Which song shall I visit?
Thanks so much for the very kind comment on my song Howl'n. And congrats on 32 songs. That's incredible....
Hi! Thank you for the note on my wall. I do have a few songs to post, though no demos yet. I'm looking forward to catching up on listening to what everyone's been up to. Looks like you've been very prolific. π
I wrote a song to thank you for the inspiration you provided so many during FAWM. Itβs my 15th song, called DragonFae.
@wylddandelyon thank you so much for the appreciation and kind comment on 'The Alien'. Its a fun episode is to narrate now π
Thank you for your reassuring comments about βGlorious is the Giftβ! In the book the two musician characters are improvising on the song, and I may try to add harmonies to it later. Cantor for Pearls, which I put up a few days earlier, is also about that book, if you are interested.
Thank you for your kind words about "Rose Valland" And I've been looking at your Dragonfae prompts, one of which, in a very general way, gave me the idea for "Come Away" so thank you for inspiration also!
I liked your comment about guitar frets. As a matter of fact, it struck a chord with me. π
Thanks for stopping by for some Fret Stew and sharing your Fret Tea with me. There's no regretting the time spent fretting. OK, that's a terrible lie, but there's no regret in FAWMing!
Thanks for the comments and listens! I loved working with the Dragonfae Oracle, so I'm glad you enjoyed the song that came out of it.
Thank you for the compliment on The Elephant Spoke to the Snake.
Thank you for singing along to "Han's Falcon"!
Thank you so much for your kind comment on 'Winning Streak' π
thanks for listening to "A bare season" yes that proustian quality of food is amazing!
Thanks for your comment on Allies Fall Easiest. I have politics fatigue, too, but it just makes me angrier and more wordy on the subject..
Glad you liked my "Running out of Time" - Yes, inertia is normally our number one enemy. Number two being the mistaken belief that we are immortal and have all the time in the world...
Thanks for your comment on "Half finished" π
Thank you for the kind comment on 'Don't Put It Off' π
thank you for the lovely Oracle card!! SO happy with the image. we'll see what i come up with song wise...
Thank you for the oracle card! I appreciate you taking the time for the write-up π

Great to see you back Deirdre! Have a great FAWM!
