2021 is my 10th FAWM, and I have done the 50/90 9 times. Have made it past 14 the last 3 years.
I write some comedy songs, some just whatever songs (most usually have a "gentle humour"), sometimes a kids' song and maybe some short instrumentals and sketches. I like writing songs about everyday things.
Some songs are recording-only songs that I couldn't possibly do live but I also try to get some "keepers" for live gigs (where I perform mostly in the context of comedy nights with "original comedy singalong songs" or my favourite gigs - with friends round a campfire)
I have no idea what will come out of this month and I'm looking forward to some games, skirmishes and challenges.
Most of all I just like being part of it.
songs from previous FAWMs and 50/90s are on my website:

Nice. We could do a whole album and sell it in Waterstones. 😀 Your song got to me, because I have rooms full of books (more in the garage) and feel guilty about each one I have betrayed by not reading it yet, and am increasingly aware of the mortal limits of possibility. I love the “like the pages, your days are numbered” line. Gotta choose well.
Aha, OK. You're the first person who's ever taken the trouble of explaining it. Don't think I saw that episode of Happy Days. Now it's even funnier. What an imagination you have (It IS your imagination, isn't it?) I agree, Mary Berry playing the drums is indeed a step too far. Unless maybe a drum covered in a deep layer of whipping cream played with wooden spoons. That would be interesting.
Thank you for taking a listen and for your kind comment on No Hurry.
Thank you for the lovely comments on my collab with Jonmeta called Time to live again.
I have been an admirer of yours for some years. I think this is the first time you have heard me.
So much talent in FAWM. It sometimes does take years to find people!
Thank you for listening and commenting on my collabs with mikeb "Tears at Midnight" and "I Can't Wait" with kristi, it is appreciated!!
Wobbie, if you haven't already, please listen to my song Eureka. I tip my hat to you in that song and I don't want you to miss it...Hope you like it...
Wobbie...You are the BEST! Thanks for visiting and commenting on some of my songs. I was tickled to see them...
Thanks for the clarinet compliment, Wobbie! <3
Thanks again for your supportive comments. I really appreciate it 😀
I like oat milk but other half's not a fan. Its a logistical nightmare! We're currently on hazelnut milk.
Always, my dear friend. Thank YOU.
hahahaha I never thought of how London's local place names would sound when spoken by an American, but maybe I should have. After all we have places within a few miles of me with names like Puyallup, Issaquah, Nisqually, Tulalip and Spokane that I'll bet most Americans outside the state of Washington couldn't pronounce. 😀
Thank you for listening to and commenting on The Game's Afoot. I love radio (always have) and outside of one or two shows on National Public Radio we have nothing like much of what appears on radio in the UK, even if we just consider Radio 4.
Thanks for your kind comments on break on the Wheel
Thank you, I may take you up on that offer.
Yay!! You won!!! Congrats!!!
WOOT! You did it! Winner!🏆
Ha, thanks Wobbie. Yes, the M6 was the band of my existence when I spent 7 years driving around the country playing gigs, so I'm glad that Cole is going to write some lyrics that I can relate to.
Thanks for listening to The Rain and for the kind feedback! 😁
Coo. You've been busy! 😀
Glad you liked the bass ego trip one. 😀
Thank you so much for the kind comment on 'Unrequited'. Though it is still lacking, I've struggled to get the emotion across on this one. Will be revisiting it later 😀
Thank you so much for the appreciation and kind comments on 'Winning Streak' Yes, I'm really enjoying this incredible spell of productivity. 😀
Thanks for the comment on Tears at Midnight, my collab with Tammy.
Wooo! Glad you enjoyed.
Excellent!! How do you like to work?
Hey there Ms Wobbit. We have a week left - would you like to collaborate on something?
Glad you liked my song "Light on the Darkness"
So glad I found this place 😀
Thanks for taking my track for a spin!
And now I'm envious of your earbuds because mine have gone kaput and left me budless for the time being 😏
HAHAH yeah that song is pretty much about mosh pits ... vocal was my attempt to sound like the singer from The Bronx 😉
Thanks for commenting!
Hey Wobbie. Thanks so much.
Don't worry, the song isn't about me. I've never been beautiful 😜
I hope you're doing ok. I think I've only listened to one of yours so far, so I need to dive into the Wobbie goodness.
Good work on the "Looking Forward" skirmish! Definitely relatable thoughts throughout.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and for writing nice, encouraging things which I treasure and help me progress and grow!!
Thanks for the comment! The lyrics for the whole project are all going to be themed around the same concept - I quite like the idea of letting people find their own interpretations of what they mean. It’s certainly helped give me a direction lyrically though!
Hey, thanks for the cool comment on "What It Is."
We are grouped up for the four-way video challenge; we wanted to coordinate via email; could you send me/us an email so we can hash out what we want to do when you can? Thanks,
Bloomin LOVE this. What a fantastic start to this year's FAWM.
Love you. ❤
Yay! its that time of the year again 😀
Hi! We finally have a good reason to stay in. I shall be listening to everything you do, and the thought already makes me smile.
You made me laugh my ass off... aaaaand watchlisted!
Wobbie! Great to hear from you. I hope you're doing ok.
Yeah, I might squeeze a few collabs in, but they will likely be much more stripped down and simple, partly due to spending less time on music at the moment, and partly because I'm still learning and feeling my way around my new way of recording (I got a tablet for Christmas, and have been using that instead of my usual PC system. It's way more stripped down, but I'm having to learn how to use new and different programs).
I'll look forward to hearing your soul music in the coming weeks!
Whaddup, doctorette? 😀
Hi Wobbie! Happy FAWMing, looking forward to hearing what ya come up with this FAWM 😀
Hiya! Looking forward to seeing what you make 😀
The highlight for me from 50/90 was your Radio Show one with headfirstonly, it inspired me to keep going with incorporating some 'acting' in my songs leading up to the new year!
Oo-oo. Nearly FaWM time! To sin or not to sin?
Hello, hope all is well with you.
Hi Wobbie!! I await your creations!!!
Hello Wobbie!! I look forward to hearing your delightful songwriting again this year!
Woop woop! Here we go again!
Wishing you an amazingly hysterical FAWM this year! Always love your work! 🎵
Your songs always make me smile!!!
