2019 is my 8th FAWM, and I have done the 50/90 7 times. Last year was the first year I actually made it past 14 (got about 20 in 5090 but I did take the middle month off) I plan to also write a few short songs, maybe that is cheating a bit but I like having some short songs for gigging, a musical equivalent of one-liners, to throw into the mix.
I write some comedy songs, some just whatever songs (most usually have a "gentle humour"), sometimes a kids' song and some short instrumentals and sketches. I like writing songs about everyday things.
Some songs are recording-only songs that I couldn't possibly do live but I also try to get some "keepers" for live gigs (where I perform mostly in the context of comedy nights with "original comedy singalong songs" or my favourite gigs - with friends round a campfire) ...
I have no idea what will come out of this month and I'm looking forward to some games, skirmishes and challenges.
Most of all I just like being part of it.

thank you , i really enjoyed your siundcloud album
Controversy is no bad thing! Well done for fanning its flames. Who knows maybe tons of folks will suddenly realise they want to go out and buy a book today...on World Book Day.
Thanks for commenting on my collab song "Move On", I appreciate the listen!
Certainly, you're welcome to put Roll Out the Green Carpet on your website, and add a link to mine, nancyrost.com.
Hi Wobbie I have really enjoyed your songs too. I had you watch listed since I listened to bra off ha ha Ha who writes that stuff? I only follow like three people. Your lyrics make sense and that carries a lot of weight with me. Cheers!
Wobbie, I have thoroughly enjoyed your output this year and as I was saying to Pete (Sapient) earlier, I think this has been a really good year for FAWM. Congrats on the win and thanks for posting such catchy, inspired and enjoyable songs. ๐
Wow! 17!!! You are having an EPIC FAWM. Holy cow. Thank you re Midnight 42, my throat is still very sore but that song has to come out. Back to bed now ๐
The demo for Sarahโs Song is up! My album is also out https://open.spotify.com/album/3nzwsM...
Have a listen if you have time. Thanks for your input on Fawm
PS thx for the auntie-sin prompt. I also actually personally agree with everything in your 'books' song and do believe in the importance of living in the now. Am looking forward to the synthesis ๐
Thank you for the kind words on Travelin' Boy. I wish I were half as prolific this month as you.
Well thanks for helping push me way way way out of my comfort zone!
I was influenced by you and felt confidently encouraged by you to try singing a quirky song with a spoken word bit. And I sang it with my bra off. No it has nothing to do with bras. But every time I put on or take off my bra now I think of you.

Wanted to make sure you saw how our tape turned out! https://fawm.org/songs/96694/
Hey Wobbie, I'm gonna be absent for the rest of FAWM, so I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your great music this February!
You made me smile multiple times this month!
Thanks for the comment on 'Catcher'!
on that 'hurry up', the drums just sound so big, and there are ghost notes in those rhythms, which make the drum playing itself sound great. all in all, the drums are the glue that ties everything together.. imo.. ymmv
Thank you so much for your kind words on Forgiveness. I am so glad you enjoyed the song!
See You In The Shadowsโฆ
Hey there! You're next up in the #auntie-sin chain! Here's the two songs you get to sythesize---

Cool, I'll get it in the post to you tomorrow! I guess @fourzeroes is the best bet for track four? Or if no takers maybe it could go back to @marvsmooth for a circular twist... seems a shame it it had to go to the US and not get finished until March!
so (thanks for asking)'seth and skliar' have a song up and a few more on the way! https://fawm.org/fawmers/sethandskliar/
Thank you for graciously and genrously commenting on The Dancer, with @acousticmaddie .
Thank you for the kind words on mine and @jamcars collab The Dancer
You're right; "Hidden Intent" *was* wonky. I've remixed it so that things are (hopefully) clearer. Cheers!
Thanks for your kind words on Sodium Light and Where's my coat.... committing to silliness is a premise to my whole life!
thanks for the message, hoping to have some new songs sometime soon in a few days!
Thank you for the kind words on Bosses song
Thanks for your comments on Turning Pages
Thanks a lot for your comment on my track <3
use http://www.flyingtadpole.com And I have to update it...one day...thanks!
Morphs, always difficult. Wobbie, your words are yours; why not acknowledge "music based on a progression and melody by Tim Fatchen?" That'd do. We're none of us going to get rich on royalties....!!!!
Thanks for listening and commenting on my songs "You Are Fragile" and "Tempting Time", I really appreciate it!!
Oh and your questions are good ones, who knows the answer. I also did wonder what Johnny might wear, only he knows. As for Roy, it just doesnโt make any sense at all.
Thanks for commenting on Sundayโs Clothes, not sure what was happening there. It was a byproduct of Yesterdayโs Clothes that started with the Johnny verse to make Dan laugh: he asked for another verse. I toyed with referring to Mike and using the lyrics from Paint It Black by the Stones.
Thank you for stopping by and hearing what is so hard to say. All love to you and yours!
Aww. Thank you. ๐๐ณ
Thanks! Iโm glad you thought
it was okay. You are a vey hard act to follow!
Cheers for commenting @wobbiewobbit. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the Helga photo and well wishes!!!
Okay... I tried .. my morph of your song is posted. Let me know if you want to be listed as collaborator!
Say what? My musical skills are such that it takes me like 100 takes to barely make it through a 1min exquisite corpse segment... Iโm counting the stanzas here and sweating!!! Challenge on.. gulp....
Thanks for your comment on "That Dress You Wore". Glad you liked it.
Thanks for your comment on Day the bubble burst looking forward to what comes of this collab have a great fawm
Hey Mr .
Sorry with the late hello , (hammock time getting in the way ) but canโt wait to get stuck into some serious listening . Happy fawm
๐
No problem at all! Definitely understand the allergy. ๐
Hey, Wobbie, good to see you. I just did this random Wikipedia article challenge and thought of you while writing it as I think you have the perfect voice for it, but as always here on FAWM, no pressure at all! https://fawm.org/songs/89791/
Thanks for commenting on Lies and Goodbyes. Yes, it was a ukulele.
Morph 2 is ready for you! *89665
Thank you sweetie pie! Mwah mwah xx
