Improvising is a fun game. Harmonies make me happy. Sometimes I sing and play accordion on stilts. I have small band members playing nearby in most of these recordings.

Thanks for sharing that with me Willow! That's AWESOME! 😀
    So FUN! 😀

  • @tomieilamo  Feb 28

Thanks for the feedback! You have really cool and unique tracks, I wish I was able improvise and create with the freedom you do!

  • @thesoundof Feb 27

I'm glad you liked the kiddie song! Let me know how your children like it because that' really matters a lot. I meant to sing it lot faster but my tongue just didn't co-operate with me. So I sang the Finnish version with the same tempo too so that I could mix them, but then didn't. But you know, that song has a potential to just go on and on and on, higher and faster, until we're all out of animal names with every language possible, and then comes the snake. 😁

Congratulations on hitting (and exceeding!) 14 songs with children on your first year!

It gets easier with practice. (That or the kids start learning what to expect. Who adapts faster? The kids or the parents?)

  • @dock  Feb 24

Hey,I'm so glad you got a laugh from my song. I have to thank you for your songs as they have inspired me to dig through my closet and bring out instruments I had forgotten about. Also to just let it rip and improvise more.

  • @laotranati Feb 24

Thanks for listening to my highly experimental song: Mam

  • @zedisdead Feb 23

  • @richaaaay  Feb 23

Yes, I saw the translation. Thank you. Very nicely done.

  • @pipewrench67  Feb 23

Thanks, I had to Googlize it to read it, nicely ambled.
Glad you enjoyed the weird, my skirmish topics have always been a bit askew, so I figured I would make a thing of it, this year.

  • @davidtaro  Feb 22

Thanks for the listen Willow! 😀

  • @laotranati Feb 22

Hi, Thanks for commenting on my song Aunque me quiera yo

  • @garlajoie  Feb 22

Yeah I've been in the hammer ever since I did the college music program there several years ago! I couldn't bear to leave after being introduced to the scene here, it's a cool city indeed. I can't imagine another city in Ontario that has a much stronger music scene, other than Toronto maybe. (and if there is one I'd love to hear about it!)

  • @trolls2 Feb 21

    thanks for listening to 'Finally"

  • @gb9  Feb 20

Thank you for the kind comment on 'Black and white'. I was absolutely stumped on that one, and had Niall Horan singing 'I see us in black and white, crystal clear on star lit night.' in my mind on a loop.. It was crazy...

  • @sueawesome Feb 20

thanks for the comment on the skirmish song!

  • @trolls2 Feb 20

thank you for your kind words on B+W cookies!!

  • @gb9  Feb 18

Thank you for the kind comment of 'Shiver me timbers' it's my niece's newest catch phrase and I wanted to create something that she could sing to and have fun!

  • @crutherford  Feb 18

hey willow! if you write directly on their own "walls" then they can read it - for some reason it doesn't work when you tag people on your walls. 😀
also woodpecker is awesome - i just listened to it but want someone else to discover it - so you will remain zonged for someone else to sleuth out! xoxo

  • @willow1 Feb 14

@mandolinda thanks for the kind words, will write on your wall

  • @willow1 Feb 14

@mrgee1952 will write on your wall

  • @willow1 Feb 14

@crutherford glad you squeezed in the sneeze.

  • @crutherford  Feb 14

    thanks willow!
yeah - i have been trying to put that lick from sneezer into a song for over a year now and couldn't quite find the right one until last night.
i'm loving the improvisations with the kids you're posting.

  • @mandolinda  Feb 8
