Artist Bio

Influences:   The Script, Tristan Prettyman, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, and a wide range of folk singers for their honest lyrics and social commentary; Beethoven for the passion in the music. My tastes range from Bob Marley to Benny Goodman, from Black-Eyed Peas to bar songs. There is beauty in it all!

Sassy and honest, with a biting sarcasm. I have a few serious neurological conditions (pain and muscle function; they do impair speech at times) I've been dealing with and music has been great therapy for the body and soul. I love the creative challenge of FAWM, and the inevitable release and growth that comes with it. This is fun for me - nothing more. I don't care about commercial viability or song length or even if something is "good" or not. I'll likely bust my own zongs, too.

I started a small food business in 2015, and it takes up a huge amount of time. I hit 14 my first 2 FAWMs, but was thrilled to get a single song up last year. I still only have my iPod for recording and can't proficiently play any of the 4 instruments I own. I feel zeeeeeeroooooo guilt about this. All that being said, I can't wait to challenge myself and be inspired by my fellow FAWMers. Let's do this!

Thx for the comments re: Burnt Sugar, Blood, and Hot Motor Oil. fyi: "Carcinoma Angels" is a short story by Norman Spinrad, well worth reading I think. Sending good vibes w/r/t your medical challenges. And here's hoping you get a song up in the remaining days.

  • @alboe Feb 27

Thank you for checking out (Fuck) The Big Time.

  • @ozcompr  Feb 26

Thanks for listening to “Meanwhile on the Farm”. Essentially it was exactly that. The cows are the easily herded thoughts (which was the initial concept of the song) and the cats (the side track wild thoughts) sprung up out of nowhere so the track reflects that. Each can and do survive on their own but I still feed them.

  • @unkept Feb 26

Thanks for your great comment on The Brass Gate. 😀

I think you're totally right, something a bit bigger would've been good at the end.

Tired me didn't quite make it there, ha! I will probably revisit the song later and I'll keep what you said in mind! Thanks!

  • @vegansongs  Feb 26

  • @gwyn1234  Feb 25

Hey! Thanks for listening and responding to my drinking made me smile wider than a fresh cold one on the table! 😁

  • @colgoo Feb 25

Thank you for your comment on “Run”. It means a lot that one of the phrases I added to Jordan’s lyrics to help it flow better jumped out at you. Jordan has a gift for writing lyrics that really speak to my soul, and so it is high praise indeed to hear that my contributions to Jordan’s lyrics stand up to the rest of the song.

  • @smiley Feb 25

Thank you for giving, "An Elaborate Plot" a listen. I appreciate your advice and agree totally. I hope to get back with a re-write or 2. Again, thanks for dropping by.
