Influences: Any good music
2019: my 5th FAWM 😀 and 6th year in writing songs and making music
FAWM resolutions:
- write and record 14 songs 😀
- get a lot better at commenting
- not overusing smileys (I will again fail with this one... 😀 )
Tools:
Reaper, Kontakt, Strobe2, midi keyboard, NI "The Giant" piano and the Session Guitarist (new), some vst from AAS, BiaB, Andrew White Freya guitar, Luna uke, Melodyne, Trio band generator, a real cowbell, a Xaphoon (new) that I can’t play
Anne
PS: February getting closer and I get more and more of my FAWM time stolen 😞 Have to establish a strict wriing routine ...
I love collabs and organizing challenges, I'm afraid I have to reduce this years FAWM to just writing my own stuff (and commenting on others) to get anything done at all...
PPS: February almost over 😞 and I'm at 7 no collabs... my other life is absorbing too much energy. Yet, I'm doing all this girl-with guitar recordings. Not so good ones but I'm pretty proud I can do it at all 😀

Congrats on your trophy. Lots of work left on SEVEN song 😀
No worries Anne 😀
You mentioned FAWM started before you finished the Write Like Mozart course you were taking. Well, not to worry, you didn't miss the Pachelbel progression, because it's covered it in week 2, so you have access to it, if you're interested. It's in the lesson on Sequential Progressions, the video on the 'Descending 5-6 Progression'. Dr. Edwards mentions, only in passing, that it's the same progression Pachelbel used. Don't know if Pachelbel was the first to use it or not. I'm guessing he wrote the most famous piece with it, though. Knowing the formula for the progression lets you write your song in any key.
I was a mentor in that course for 9 mons. but found it a little stressful, 'cause sometimes I had to review material before answering some questions. It's why I became a mentor - to insure the content sunk in, but it was stressful. That course has an excellent mentor, though, Lucas. I learned a lot from him, great resources like Seth Monohan's free series of lessons on YouTube
Thank you for listening and for your generous comments on my songs. It means a lot to me. Converting "Becoming Whole" from a wav file to an mp3 seemed to cost it a lot of its subtley. Maybe it's because it's a quiet piece, or because it's all strings? Don't know. Oh well, I'm so glad you liked it regardless. Hope you're having a great FAWM. This is definitely my most productive one. I can't thank you enough for telling me about this site. Maybe next year, I'll even make it to 14 songs. FAWM on Anne. 😀
When does the first one start?
But from memory, it's in D and possibly goes D - G - F with the chorus of F - G - D, but that could be completely wrong and I have written down at home...
Yep - will send it this evening.
Hello Anne. Lineup change for Morph 1, you are up to morph Helen's song https://fawm.org/songs/94347/ I am after you and last in the chain so if you can write one, then great, if not then no worries.
He Anne, ich vermisse Songs von Dir. Schreibst Du noch was diesen Februar?
Hi, got your note. It sounds like you may not be able to. So Ill ask to switch collab partners 😀
Hi, so we have the random collab together. Did you already have something in mind? I can do anything.
Hey Anne, you're next in the #morph chain. You get to use 50% of my song to make something new. Here it is:

Best of luck with your FAWM!
Thank you for listening Anne. You are doing well in the creative zone .
Thanks ttb, I knew the theme all day, resisted temptation, to even think about it, then struggled with nothing for 30 mins! YOU are still ahead though 4 -3 But I think we are both winning. 😀
Thanks for your comments! Hope you’re having a great FAWM.
Thanks for listening to both my efforts ttb. Who knows what I will turn into, I just hope it's not an adult. 😀
Danke für deinen Kommentar! Jetzt bin ich gespannt auf deine Musik:-)
Hey, danke fürs reinhören. Ich versuch das nächste mal selbstbewusster zu sein:)
Thanks for checking out my song! Please feel free to use as many smileys as you wish! 😊
Happy FAWM to you, may the song writing flow!
Welcome back to FAWM! Lets rock this month!
You too! Thanks for the message and good luck!
Hi Anne! 😀 Danke für die nette Begrüßung! Dir auch einen schönen Musikmach-Februar!
Thanks Tootoobee. I hope you have an awesome FAWM too. I've officially cleared my desk of things I wanted to get done before FAWM, so now no distractions - I can settle in and enjoy a month of making and hearing new music. Can't wait! 😀
you too 😀 have a great FAWM!
Happy FAWM 2019. Hope it's another great one for you.
Hiya Anne!! And a Happy FAWM 2019 to you!
Hey Anne! So good you're joining the party again this year. Looking forward to skirmishes galore and sharing lots of great new music!
great to see ya back!
Hello Anne. I hope you write a hundred beautiful songs this next month.
"Real life commitments" would make a good song prompt. Thanks to Tom for the idea.
Hello Anne!
He Anne, vielen Dank. Wünsche ich Dir auch und Danke noch mal für Deinen Hinweis auf den FAWM im letzten Jahr, ohne den ich nicht hier wäre.
Hiya Anne! Happy FAWM 2019!
You too Anne, I suspect this FAWM might be badly timed for your real life commitments. but evey single song is a bonus!! 😀
