I'm still trying to catch up on all of the thank you's that I owe people for stopping by my song pages and I am very touched by thoughts that you have shared on my song "Tumbling". I will be developing this song further and will keep your input handy so I can make sure it's the best I can make it. The input that I receive from other songwriters is always taken to heart and I know that often times it helps make my songs stronger. Thank you so much for your time and support, and for connecting with me on this one. <3
Thank you so much for stopping by my skirmish song "Sweet and Sour". It was fun to write and step out of my comfort zone, which we all have to do now and then. I truly appreciate your comments and will be taking them into consideration when I revisit the song in the coming weeks. Your time and support is very much appreciated, once again, Jeff, as we skirmish together!
I'm still catching up on sending thank you notes for your having stopped by my song "When it Snows". I am so touched by the support and comments this song has gotten. I played this at a zoom open mic even though it's not quite polished and it was well received. I will be back in touch if I get the demo up in case anyone is around to listen. Your time and support mean so much to me and I really appreciate your having taken time for me, jeff!
Thanks for listening and kind words on my song ‘ Trail of hope ‘ . Good onya ! Cheers 😊👍
Thanks for the kind words on Heartache Town, fellow Jeff.
Thank you for the feedback, Jeff. i was intending to try and find someone in Wichita to proofread the song for me, and you did that without me even having to ask! Congrats on your double-FAWM win!
Thank you for stopping by to comment on my song "Miracles". and the feedback. I know I keep loading your soundboard but I'm still working through all the thank you notes! I really appreciate it.
Thank you for stopping by to comment on my song "Asking For A Friend". It was a fun skirmish for sure. Your thoughts are all important to me and as I go back over my songs to develop them, I will keep all comments handy. I really appreciate your time and support so many times this year!
Thank you SO much for your great comments on "If I Could Live at the Zoo". I plan on having some fun with this song and will be taking all comments to heart as I go back and work on it. Your time and support are truly appreciated! I love my zoo and I've had a membership for years. I do volunteer work for special events there and I just like to go and walk, write and have lunch sometimes. Our zoo focuses on endangered and nearly endangered species and conservation efforts. Plus we just have lots of fun! Be well, stay safe and it's never too late to go back for more fun!
Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my skirmish song "I Can't Wait". I save my archive and review and consider all comments as I'm going back over my fawm songs. Many thanks to you, tjeff! Always good to hear from you.
Interesting i see you pretty much only did skirmishes this year was that planned or just a happening? Seems our collab was well received!
thanks so much jeff for your kind listen on 'The best thing'
I appreciate the kind comment on “Tumble and Fall”!
Glad you liked my "Best thing about you..." Actually "Beetle Racing" is featured in a list of "Unusual Hobbies" that I was inspired by to write this.
You learn something every day... 😁
Graçias for your lovely comment!
Thank you so much for the appreciation of 'Escape Together' and the kind comments. Thankfully that was an easy write because of the pandemic 😀
Thank you so much for your appreciation and kind comments on 'Forever' 😀
Glad you liked "The Strangers" You are just about right on the Cittern. It's like an Irish Bouzouki (or octave mandola) with a pair of lower tuned bass strings than the Bouzouki's Low G. Giving DGDAD tuning.
Thank you so much for your lovely comments on our first go at a skirmish 😀
Thank you so much for your kind comments on 'Aces'. I know it isn't as good as it could be, thanks for the kindness 😀
Thanks so much for the lovely comment on “Pushing Upward (Rolling Down the River)”!
Thank you for appreciation and encouraging comments on my "It Was Just A Test"
Thank you for your appreciation and kind comments on 'Pushing Upward' The theme just took a life of its own 😀
I like how you added "(in the winter)" in the comment because yeah I suppose that makes quite a difference! Also, congrats to your son for his graduation! I approve of his choice in schooling location
Glad you liked my "Gravity" song. I am not surprised you find an Irish feel to it. That might be because I'm an Irish Citizen myself, brought up on traditional Irish folk.... Ignore my more "standard English" accent - my father insisted on "elocution lessons" - They stood me in good stead as an actor later, I must admit.
I don't use my low range often enough because it seems higher notes are what I 'expect' of myself for demos. But I try to sneak some low notes in from time to time.
Thanks for your comment on "Not Ready for Steady". You're right about counting it. I also counted in 4 1/2 when playing the guitar part. The basic drum track is constructed using 4+3+2. Glad you liked it.
Thank you for listening and for your encouraging comments on my "Ready to Go"!
Thank you so much for the appreciation and kind comment on 'Ready, Steady, Go' 😀
haha i was a bit confused? it has a chorus!
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback. We work hard on our harmonies so really pleased you like them!
Thank you so much for your comment on West Wind. Miles Davis, wow - never had that comparison before. Thank you!
If you want to know more about Jeskola Buzz, you can check out its website: http://www.jeskola.net/buzz/ It's a next gen Tracker with a modular appraoch to composing (using "Machines" - individual instruments & effects that can be wired in just about any way imaginable). I've been using it for about 15 years & wouldn't trade it for a traditional DAW. But then, I come from a Tracker background, having used Impulse Tracker & Scream Tracker before I switched to Buzz. Thank you for your interest!
See You In The Shadows…
thanks for your kind comments on my song! 😀

Thanks very much for the nice comment on “Meet in the Middle”!
no fender rhodes. doing all my playing on a casio PX-S1000
Thanks! On that acoustic line in that skirmish song, the reverb was actually an accident, I was recording without monitoring, I had another guitar that I sit down that hit the footswitch 😁, but I agree it did end up with a nice sound 🤣 I actually had to listen after I read your comment, I thought huh? I thought that was a halfway decent acoustic recording for once, surely didn't do anything "fancy"
Thanks so much for your comments and feedback on 'Michael'. I knew the chorus had to have flatpicking in it! Really glad I'm on the right track with this one... Glad to see you on here again this year. Happy FAWMing! 😀
Hi! Thanks for your lovely comments on the skirmish song I Don't Like Snow. I do have a Rhodes - but it needs a bit of tlc to bring back into commission. On this song I'm playing my beloved Wurlitzer. 😀
Thanks for the generous comments on The Snow
Thank you for the feedback on "Mythical", very flattered to get a Chrissie Hynde comparison!
Thanks so much for running a great skirmish and for your kind words on “Skibbereen.” Skibbereen is near the coast in the southwestern corner of Ireland, which is a particularly beautiful part of the country. One branch of my family came from the Skibbereen area centuries ago.
Ha ha @ double meanings in Yummy Mummy.... yup, maybe I didn't make it clear enough ! The singer is cooking her/his Mommy in the stew...
Thanks for the comment on my skirmish song!
Thank you for your kind words on "The Cemetery", I'm working on having my instrumentals build as they go so it's not monotonous to listen to.
thanks for your warm comments on my "Light in the Darkness"
Thank you for your kind words on "It Was a Test".
Thanks for your positive feedback on my song "It was a test"
Thanks for commenting on my Stuck Again version for the skirmish.
Yeah 17 minutes is a long time. Get back to it when you can. Thank you so much for the comment!
See You In The Shadows…
Thanks for the comment on Rinse and Repeat. Yeah, defo crunchy guitars. m/
Thanks for the comments on Testing Times. I can get words down really fast if the prompt is just right. Music is a whole other kettle of fish.
Thank you Jeff for the listen and kind words.
Hey Jeff thanks for your kind word on our song. The songcraft website has a post on the fawm forum. The creator is a member!
Thank you for your lovely comment on my first song of FAWM21! A delight to skirmish with you!
Thanks for the comment on our skirmish. ps. If you wanna help make it a song. thad' be kewl.
Thanks so much for your generous comment on “If We Lived on the Moon”!
thank you for your comments on Montecarlo. Cecil Taylor was the second pianist who drove me to the piano. the first was Paul Bley for his mimimalist lyricism. Taylor showed me the piano could also be a percussive instrumentt. I was under his influence when I used to play in free ensembles. Montecarlo is more in the Bley style. but seriously, outside of an album i played on with Stone Gossard in 2005, I havent played piano since the mid seventies, and since I started playing again when when i bought a piano for my daughter for the last christmas, Im not thinking about either Bley or Taylor....Im just trying to learn how to play again.
heya! thanks for the hello! i zip through wichita every time i go back home to see my folks! happy fawming!
