Influences: Too many to mention. Lately listening to Son Volt, Dropkick Murphys, Peter Gabriel, Psychedelic Furs, Fountains of Wayne, Whiskeytown
For this year's FAWM I'm working on improving my skill using the Cubase DAW, which I'm new at. So attempting more fully produced songs and experimenting with mixing, effects, etc. The instruments I'm using are Fender Squier Tele, Fender Squier P-Bass, Taylor DN3 acoustic, Juno DS-88 keyboard, Audio Technica AT4050 mic for vocals and acoustic guitar.
Can't believe this will be my fourth FAWM! In the process of putting together my first album and was considering skipping out this year, glad I decided to dive in.
FAWM helped me break free from many years of writer’s block/fear and I will be forever grateful.

thank you for all your listening and comments. i have to admit i have never listened to a john prine record, although i am familiar with a few of his early songs through the mouthpiece of enthusiastic open mikers, so i cant put a handle on his voice. the major influences of which i am conscious havee been elvis, tim hardin, both van and jim morrison, and brett anderson ..im going to have to give prine a serious listen on the headphones one of these nights.
Thanks for your nice comments on our Sachs bridge song!
