[he/him/his]
2021 is my seventh FAWM under various names, with yet another new concept this year. I'm open to all collaborations, including writing, production, vocals, and instruments.
I seem to be writing bits of an interstellar colonization concept album, but I'm pretty sure I won't manage to write 14 songs in that direction.

I'm still catching up on sending thank you notes for your having stopped by my song "When it Snows". I am so touched by the support and comments this song has gotten. I played this at a zoom open mic even though it's not quite polished and it was well received. I will be back in touch if I get the demo up in case anyone is around to listen. Your time and support mean so much to me and I really appreciate your having taken time for me. 😀
Hey, nice to meet you 😀
I’m not on Slack but could do it over email if that works? My address is jorh1504@hotmail.com
Thank you so much for your comment on Evol. Ironically, I find it easier doing these monster 15 minute tracks than the 2 minute skirmish I did yesterday. Go figure.
See You In The Shadows…
Oh man. I had actually gone as far as a Google image search for the game, but nothing immediately grabbed me so I decided to be lazy and skip it. Maybe I'll go back and switch it. As for meaning, as always I invite you to take your own..
Thank you for the feedback on "Right Inside Our Door".
Hey there, thank you kindly for your comment on "Whiteout"! You asked about the synths I used - I use only software-synths. No room for hardware in my life. 😀 They are a bunch of different ones. I love Helm, it's such a nice straight-forward additive synth with lots of options if you dig into it. I like to use Analog Lab with emulations of different synths, like Jupiter-8 and ARP 2600 in this song. The pianos are an emulated Wurli and a modified upright piano, also from the Analog Lab. I like to use the BBC orchestra by Spitfire to add a touch (not too much) of old-school instrumental feel. 😀
I knew with a name like that you'd be writing cool sci-fi stuff, and your track listing so far does not disappoint.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Loving our first year at FAWM so far 😊
Thanks so much for adding Sweep You Out to the recommendation thread! Very kind.
Thanks for the lovely comment on my first song of FAWM21! Looking forward to following you 😀
Happy FAWMing!
I read your reply in Nic Cage's voice.
Hello mystery FAWMer, whoever you are. Are you Nicholas Cage incognito, I wonder?
Anyhoo, have a great FAWM.
