I've been a piano player my whole life, and I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember, they've just been written at a slower rate.
I have a nascent band called the Tim Girardot Banned, and with luck this project will give that a much-needed kick in the pants.
Currently, I'm doing a project in which I improvise for about 4-6 minutes each day, record it and post it on my SoundCloud. I'll be doing this every day for this entire year, as I did in 2016.
That being said, I plan on making an album next month that samples as many different styles as occurs to me. Each song will hopefully have its own unique style.
my musical taste is this---if I'm surprised by the texture/chord progression/lyrics, I think it's a good song.
No songs by this fawmer (yet).
