    Regarding your "Liar" skirmish song:
Very glad I listened to your link...not sure what's up with the url issue, that's unfortunate.
    This sounds great!
I love your voice here, you sang this with soul, warmth, and emotion.
I was swaying in my chair as I was doing my work.
    Simply sounds great.

Thanks so much for your comment on "A Story" - yeah I will try that with the lower tempo. Thanks for your feedback! ๐Ÿ˜€

    Hi!
Thank you so much for your kind comments on my songs.
I'm not far out of LA. I live in the I.E. ๐Ÿ˜€
We have a SoCal FAWM after party. You should come if you'd like. ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh thank you so much!! Yeah, "The Homesick" was kind of fitting...since while I lived in Virginia I missed Michigan. Now I'm back in Michigan and miss things about Richmond, VA. Since we are a long-distance band..it just fit. I'm so glad you liked "Another Way." That was a fun one to do (when I just have to figure out vox and not all the other stuff too!)

Thanks so much for listening to "You Won." I really appreciate your kind words! And it led me to your songs...which are AWESOME! ๐Ÿ˜€ Happy FAWMing!

Thanks for the listen and the nice comments!!! Much appreciated!

    Thanks for the comment! And you are exactly right. This thing is a sort of thematic "thing" that was born in some soundcheck and I have given it different iterations, it is interesting to see how things change as they go. Sometimes I make sort of cut up albums of ready songs by cutting out everything but the minimum to keep the atmosphere, here is one such album;

I made it around the pianos I played for this album, which was a sort of attempt to capture consciousness as it was in that certain period of time: https://j-kill.bandcamp.com/album/ruo...

Thanks for your comment on Bucket List - I definitely work best to a theme. If I know what Iโ€™m writing about Iโ€™m fine, but if I had to come up with 14 different topics Iโ€™d soon be flailing!

  • @frozenlonesome Feb 2

Thanks for listening and your kind comments.

Thanks for your kind words on Behind the Mask! EDIT: and on all my other stuff... you're too kind! ๐Ÿ˜€

I think the trick for me is just being patient. Certain things come to the surface and I just build from there. Often times a guitar, bass, or keyboard riff or something. Sometimes a tune or riff comes into my brain and I do whatever I can to get that down, whether that means grabbing an instrument or recording a voice memo on my phone. Best to you!

Thank you for the generous comment on Confessions!! But thatโ€™s not me singing ๐Ÿ˜€

Welcome to FAWM, have a great one! This is my second year but it was brilliant for me last year to knuckle down and crack on with giving it a go!

  • @guatecoop  Jan 26

Welcome! I hope that you enjoy! We are glad that you are here. Oh, you will love it then. This is such a great way to just dive in and let the creative mind go. Always surprising results!
