Influences: I do my own thing, but Patsy Cline, Ella Fitzgerald, and Crystal Gayle tend to color my songs
I'm a throwback, crafting songs where I hope the lyric can be understood and touch a memory or a hope in the listener. Wish I had a stronger country voice, but it is what it is. I've written a little jazz, a touch of country, some tender gospel, a smidge of pop and blues, and even a Christmas song. I never know where a song will take me, but I know I'm having fun and I'm excited to hear the next song. I am not a professional singer, but sing just enough to let you know how the song goes.
Wanted to comment on your two zongs, but something odd happening to the sound - only coming out of the left speaker and all echoey - you must have clicked something funny by mistake. Please fix and re-upload them.
That’s amazingly helpful, re: BIAB. Great to know the option available to me. I’m so used to playing things out and my melodizing is so dependent upon where my guitar goes (both of which are being figured out simultaneously) that I’m not sure I would use it. But I do find myself getting redundant sometimes with progressions so this could be a great benefit for writing beyond my playing ability. Thanks very much for giving me a “tour” of your studio. 😀
Wow! I have Band in a Box and use it for simple short pieces for students, but nothing of this magnitude. You use it well! Do you have the most expensive version with all the RealTrack styles? I just bought a few more styles because I didn't have any RealTracks that could pull 3/4 time.
Thanks for trying to listen! The sound works now....I'm a bit rusty on the posting skills, but I'll get the hang of it.
Thanks for commenting on Sunny Day. It was fun for me to do.
Heya!! Good to see you here.
Happy FAWMing! Hope you have a productive month.
