Influences: Damon Albarn, The Mountain Goats, Weezer, Car Seat Headrest
I write all sorts of things, all vaguely in the school of pop and rock, usually featuring guitars and occasionally featuring pianos.
My first FAWM was in 2010. This website - not just the challenge itself, but the community - has done wonders for my musical ability.
I released an EP of songs mostly from FAWM in 2018 (available on my Bandcamp)
Feedback and criticism of any nature is welcome on my music.

Thanks for the comment! Yes I like to multitrack my vocals, but maybe I'll venture into lone vocal take territory or at last try it at some point. 😀
Slack chat helped me find this:
Love what you did with my lyrics, thank you so much for the collab! <3
Hey I would love if you did feel like doing it! And I totally remember that song and loved it, but I'm not sure if I have a copy of much of anything old around but I can definitely have a look! 😁
Thanks for the comment, thats some big praise I appreciate it 😁
Glad you liked my little soul-rocker "Is your Ride Clean".
As for my reaching 14 in a week. That's because after a year without performing (bloody virus) I was so keyed up for FAWM this year and as I am now retired (and my partner isn't yet) I have dedicated a lot of this last week to FAWM. Plus I love doing super skirmishes. Doing a few of them soon puts you into double figures 😁
Thanks! The silence was just a mistake in one of the tracks being bounced down, isn't meant to end like that.
Taylor, thanks for your comments on Fuzztastic....I just bought EZBass a couple of days before FAWM....I am a long time user of EZDrummer and EZKeys. I am just getting used to EZBass and there are some good tutorials out there on YoutTube. I bought it from Sweetwater (a bit of a discount). There are a few options to create basslines. I used to do what you do before. I do also have a cheap bass guitar, but I have found, for this guitarist, that interesting bass lines are not so easy to do...not for me.
I also joined FAWm in 2010.
Hey Taylor! Great to see you back for 2021. I love that one of my songs has been played all the way over in Australia - thank you! 😁
Here's hoping open mics become A Thing over here again at some point soon...
Just testing the rss feed.
Hello from NSW Central Coast - Not sure if you're taking part this year, but it will be good to see some local songwriters smashing their goals for 2021 FAWM. Me? I'm aiming for a song a day cos last year I didn't hit the goal posts (like I normally do). Good luck 😀
