This is FAWM year 3 for me and I'm so glad to be here. 💚
Thanks for listening and commenting on my collab song "Fades Away" with mikeb, I appreciate it!
It's embarrassing how much I'm out of the loop when it comes to who is who in music. I have no idea who Rilo Kiley is. But then again I only listen to metal for the most part (the hardcore satanic stuff where the vocals sound like a blender on high speed). I'll do my work and check out Kiley as well. Cheers!
Hey there - I just saw that the site will be shutting down on April 14th. I just wanted to let you know that I would love to get whatever you come up with, even if it is after the site shuts down. I put all the songs on a Bandcamp album and I certainly would love to include a song with you. So, feel free to send me an e-mail so I know how to get in touch with you. Still no pressure - don't feel like you need to write/sing anything, but I would love if you did. 😀
Never heard of Jenny Lewis. I'll check it out. Thanks for the listen!
Thanks for the comment on 'Fades to Gray'!
Yeah, there is absolutely no rush. Let me know if you come up with something! 😀
If you do come up with anything (lyrics, vocals, music ) just send the stems over to me at zecoop at yahoo. 🎵🎶☺️
(No pressure, though!!)
That would be wonderful! You are welcome to come up with whatever you’d like! ❤️
Thank you for all your listens and support. I am glad to have you be part of this journey with me. You did hear the line right in the chorus. 🤭 I think I subconsciously sang that and never changed it to what I had written down 😀 Congrats to you on having an awesome FAWM! yay!
Thank you for all your comments! Our collabs are all up on my bandcamp... Adfollett.bandcamp.com. Every year except 2011 and 2020 I believe!
Thanks for listening and commenting on All As One!
my pleasure. It was bloody awesome. one of my favs this year. massive well done to you
Well it was an absolute triumph in this case! 😊
I also just wanted to say that I really love and admire your music. Every year it is such a highlight, and I was really excited to see your collaboration with my friend Piney - you two are a perfect match!
I am way way behind as well - thank you so much for the kind words. All my music is on Bandcamp and the album that shows up first is last year's FAWM music. The cover is my brother holding me. 😀 Obviously not all the songs were directly related, but the themes wove in and out. For instance, "Fake Smile" was the second song that I wrote and the happy sound of my instrumental just seemed disingenuous to me. Karl did an amazing lyric/vocal keeping that theme. Elegy was the first song I wrote and is obviously a direct emotional response. Doorway to Wholeness was kind of a musical meditation written with Caterwauler here. Music is hard, but music is wonderful.
Hooray for love! <3
Vroom vroom! 🚗 ✨
See the funny thing is that I listened again and read your liner notes this time, and you state exactly what the sounds are... so I might not have had that thought had I read them first time, heh! Oh gosh, of all the keys. Will you be posted the track you emailed, the people gotta hear it? Also we're running out of time here, it's too sad - I hope we can do something even if it's a bit last minute. Hope it's getting a bit warmer in TX!
Thanks very much for your kinds words on my song. I checked out the Suzanne Vega comparison and I can hear something in there too! I think it’s the open tuning/finger picking combo, but even some of her vocal melodies sounded similar! Love her sound, will be checking out some more of her, thanks😊
Omg yes pls if you get the time and space! You can email me firstname.lastname@example.org, and vice verse I’ll send you any ideas I think might fit. Think I still have your email from a few years ago
Thanks for your awesome comments! I appreciate them. 😀
We aspire to be as cool as Peaking Lights. They've got so many great tunes and super dreamy.
Here we go my friend. It is out there and I am very thrilled.
Thanks again a bunch and all my love to you.
Thank you for your kind words, and I’m so sorry for your loss. ❤️
Just saw XTC being an influence. I love XTC! Andy Partridge is a favorite songwriter/guitarist for sure. Have you heard There's no language in our lungs? (live version) It is spectacular!
Thanks Linky. It is a happy song and... all those Swedish expressions. You might learn e few of them but there's no cow...

Glad to see you're back here.
XTC - Drums & Wires is one of my all time fave albums. Never heard of Aurora before but just listened to Exist For Love and it's some magical pop - thanks

Hoping to hear your singing this (next) month.
Aww thank you! Welcome back. We all need a little music to make us feel better 😀 Looking forward to hear what you make!
