Influences: A lot of the guy/girl-with-guitar folks from yesterday and today have had their tunes rolling around in my head, and I’ve covered many over the years. The John Denver/Jim Croce/James Taylor era folks were especially prominent.
Year 9 - FAWMer, with successes ranging from come on muse, anything, just one more tune before midnight all the way to damn, that was easy.
This year, I'm using FAWM to flush out an album concept, in the hopes that I can bring it to the studio for production and release.
I play acoustic Americana, blending folk, pop and country as my bread and butter, though from time to time I get more experimental during FAWM.
Feel free to be constructive rather than kind. The quality is going to vary, as will the effort I put into the demos. Typically they range from - crawled out of bed and recorded an idea into my phone while half asleep through carefully recorded productions.
Collaborations are welcome during FAWM under the agreement they will, by default, NOT be considered joint works. All contributions will be individually owned unless other agreements are made in advance. I am open to true co-writes with shared ownership, but this must be established in advance of a joint effort. If you have any questions feel free to email me:
Hey Dude - I hope life is treating you well and if it isn’t; I hope it provides plenty of song fodder.
If you are a bit anxious to get started, hit me up for a co-write and let’s get this shizzle on the road
