With an accordion, musical bones, and a stomping board, Mary Beth Carty is a rare gem. Her vibrant, rootsy album of original and traditional numbers, Les biens-nommés, was nominated for a 2018 ECMA and is described by The East magazine as “one of the most fun and exciting albums we’ve heard this year.” She’s performed in Continental Europe, Central Africa, and throughout Canada and was nominated Traditional Singer of the year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards for her duo album Voici… Bette & Wallet.
Thanks so much for the feedback on Greening Madrigal!
Eee thanks for the feedback on actual human. I’m very happy with it!
Hi Stompin' Mary! Nice to see you hear! Happy FAWMing...😊
Thanks for your kind words on Obi Juan Kenobi! I actually had a heap more cowbells in there, but Blue Oyster Cult called and wanted theirs back.
Accordion!! One of earth's most noble instruments... do we need a Celtic/Trad music group in the forums? 😀
Hi Mary Beth! Welcome to FAWM, you'll love it! Nice to see you here. Looking forward to listen to your songs!
Mary Beth! Halloo - Oooh, you wrote about your hike. I loved the pics you posted. gonna listen now.
Yay FAWM Friends! I'm so excited to hear what you create!
Umm... I refuse to answer on the grounds it may incriminate me. 😉
I did 82 songs, actually, but they weren't all good. I don't do a lot of arranging and layering of instruments so it makes the write-record process much quicker.
Alright! Looking forward to you firing up here!
Hey, thanks for the welcome.
Digging the Soundcloud tracks. Looking forward to your FAWM output. Welcome, and may it be amazing. 😀
Welcome, and happy FAWMing!
Looking forward to hearing your FAWM offerings!
Welcome to FAWM! I love the East Coast... my brother did his PhD at Dal so he was out there for a number of years. Hope you have a great experience here!
