Artist Bio

Influences:   Billy Joel, Shania Twain, James Taylor

I'm a singer/songwriter, manager and backup vocalist for Jesse Garron's Tribute to Elvis, a successful tribute act that features my husband as "Elvis" and includes my daughter as fellow backup vocalist. Acclaimed as "the closest thing to the King," the act has shared the bill with top headline acts and has been featured in venues nationwide since 1998.

When not singing with the Elvis group I sometimes sing with The Acoustic Jam, an acoustic cover band that features 3-part harmonies.

I play the piano, but my strength is in writing lyrics. I collaborate with a musician, and together we have songs that are considered commercially viable and forwards to music libraries for placement consideration.

HI, @singn4supr ! Thanks for listening to My Neighbor Conway and Smooth It Out. Yes, the liner notes always trip me up. What's to say? Glad you enjoy them, at least. :- )

Glad you liked my collab with Liz ("Love Again"
and thanks for your other positive comments. If songwriting comes easier to me than to some it's because I've been practicing the craft for 52 years now 😁

Hi Julie! Wow, an Elvis tribute band, that and opening for various headliners must have some interesting stories and song fodder from things that happened at shows and behind the scenes. TBH I wasn't a huge fan, my uncle and sister was and played his records over and over. I did see some of the TV concerts, including the last one in 1977. That said, I have written a couple of songs inspired by him and when someone mentions being told they can not sing, I like to recount the story of his early band audition when he (along with many of my fave musicians) was told that he was not a good singer.

A friend and occasional musical partner did a couple of his songs (Can't Help Falling In Love & Suspicious Minds) as a guitar-cello duet, back when we could play out.

    Have a great FAWM!
