I started writing songs when I was 51, after I got my then 51-year-old old J45, which kicked my ass to start taking music more seriously. I was delighted to find something new in life that I really loved doing. 2020 wasn't a music year for me, but I'm determined that 2021 will be, and am very excited to get back to focussing on songwriting.
March '21 - I'm really happy how my first FAWM all went, and very grateful for all the amazing comments, support and new friends! I've just signed up for Bandcamp and have uploaded one of my older songs. Will be now working on making better recordings of my new FAWM songs and uploading them as well. 2 jump out that I could do things with sweet dreams of you, guitar and a few effects. Why did it have to be this way, steel pedal and a few frills. I don't think I can better the two hank style songs they are spot on. Happy to look at any if you like. We could even look at music for your one lyric.

@shelleroo1 I would love to do some #tit4tat but I'm afraid I won't be able to keep up with it. I'm kind of sticking to just paying back a listen for a listen, at this point...which is...kind of the same thing? Maybe? Maybe next year I'll be organized enough to keep track of the titting and tatting lol.

mixcraft9 pro studio. (windows). I think you said you use garageband so are a mac user. I don't think mine comes in a mac version.
Great. Ok, When I get a slot of time later today I'll listen to 6 more of yours in a row, any interuptions permitting, if you don't mind. I really prefer immersion with someone new, but could only politely touch on one to get the #tit4tat ball rolling. You can take all the time you want to return the 7 listens. Looking forward to it. -

Thank you for stopping by and I'm so glad you liked "Politics of the Betrayed". Indeed, I thought that first verse was rather specific, but perhaps I'm getting better at making the listener think?? I sometimes use a 2 x 4 when writing, so I'll consider this growth. Yes, my neuro conditions are always a challenge to manage. It was super emotional from that perspective to listen to your song, but also so beautiful to hear so much empathy. Your insights are ones that so many folks miss.
