Thanks for popping in and listening to my songs! I loved your performance of the loo rolls song. The pair of you look like you're having so much fun.

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments! Please please please don’t try and lose the baby weight in 9 months! There are more important things, I promise you, and a mother’s mental health should be everyone’s top priority, not piling on pressure to somehow grow an entire human being and magically return to pre-baby shape/weight/energy etc! 🙏

Thanks for your kind comments on "She" and "The Dance". Much appreciated. Also to answer your question regarding the number of characters in The Dance, The song follows one couple through the stages of life. Also, thanks for the well wishes.

HI Rosalyn - Thanks for commenting on my song "Coming Back to Myself" - You asked what I meant by "no longer on the shelf" - It's an idiomatic expression meaning putting yourself away somewhere, not fully doing what you should.

Hi, thank you for your collab offer! There's no theme, do what you like. The name "Kleptomania" refers to "a psychological disorder that causes an uncontrollable obsession with stealing without economic or material need", but there's no need to even keep that.

Thanks for the kind comment! 😀 It was a fun lyric to add music to.

Thank you for your comments on Memo to the Clouds. I tried the scale suggestion at the end and I like it!

  • @aflinner  Feb 17

Thanks for the listen and comment 😀 [Actually it was a penny whistle]

  • @goodshipsusie  Feb 16

Thanks for commenting on my song! It's so fun that you're all the way in London and here I am in Seattle! I wish you luck on churning things out!

  • @leka Feb 16

    thanks for commenting 😀

Thanks for your comment on Manifestation... I thought about a chorus, but I felt like I had already said everything I needed to in just the verses. But perhaps one will pop in my head in the next few days. 😀

  • @musicbykatie  Feb 4

also, just saying, i fully expect to hear a looper song by you if you're gonna admit to owning the best looper ever soooo GET ON IT GIRL.

  • @musicbykatie  Feb 3

Yes, in my first song I used my little gretsch Catalina drum kit. 😀 thank you so much for the feedback.

Thanks for commenting on the Ghost. It's funny, Beverley Craven and Billy Joel and Andrew Lloyd Weber happen to be three songwriters I greatly admire ("And so it goes" by Billy Joel is the one song I'd listen to for eternity if I had to choose just one...). Thanks so much for the kind words!

Thank you for your compliments on “Quicksand” it’s always a relief to get that first one done and get the ball rolling!!

Hey! Thanks for commenting so quickly on Instruction Manual! I went with assonant rhyming in the chorus, obvs quite loosely - know - go - home - yol! Was going to say, if you're pregnant with your first you may not want to listen too closely, but then again, I know from experience that there is nothing that can prepare for the reality of parenthood, because everyone's reality is unique to them, so probably won't do any harm! Thank you!
