Semi-regular FAWMer since 2008. I've been leaning on sawdust therapy to cope with the pandemic, and am looking forward to putting the guitars produced as a result (including the herringbone plywood Tele and scrap 2x4 baritone in my profile photo) to work.

Hey Regis! Dropped by for a listen as I saw you'd signed up for SpinTunes - I'm really looking forward to it, I've never done it before! Be great to hear what you enter in for the rounds - see you over there!

Thanks for the comments dude! Your handmade guitars look awesome!

I suggest you redact your previous post to obliviate any impression that there are ever too many guitars ...... just in case your wife or any significant other ever reads it. 😀

I've always thought having a baritone guitar would be cool.
which of your songs has it in there? 😀

    Hi Regis,
thanks for stopping by and listening to "Rainbow Shanty."

Please feel free to share it with your kids if you don't think it's too far afield. 😀
I think God has a healthy sense of humor. 😀

My problematic lines are "walk with God as no one else can." I think that's wrong. I believe we all can if we choose. But it fits! 😀
Also the line "didn't like baths" was a half hearted attempt to rhyme with Ham.
And at the end, i wanted to rhyme with again, and I also wanted to tie in the rainbow, but i couldn't figure out how to do it, so I'm not quite happy with the ending.
Those lines may yet get a revision.

Maybe the BBQ line is most flippant, but Noah did offer up a burnt offering so ..... 😀

As I say, I think God has a sense of humor, and I do think it's important to try and make things interesting an relevant.

Blessings and thanks again for listening. 😀

Just read your notes - are you playing guitars that you built in your recordings?! Cool!

  • @plushbaby  Feb 11

That's a cool backstory, you should put a link to the tweet in the liner notes 😀

Thanks for the comment on Delilah Chase. Where in WY are you? Travelled around there a bit, a couple of years ago - liked it a lot. All the best to you and have a good Feb.
