So another FAWM done.
I was able to complete 14 songs in 28 days and then I did 4 on the 29th day. It turns out I went for thievery this year, Trying to do a reasonable facsimile of an artist (mostly from the 70's, some 60's and a little 80's).
I did harmonies on almost every tune, and most were done without being worked out, just listening in singing along, while not perfect, I'm really happy with the results.
I played real actual bass guitar on a couple of tracks. 1 track that was all real live instruments thanks to @zecoop drums.
I played some lead guitar that I was happy with and didn't have to bury in the mix.
I did an entire FAWM without a single blatant Tom Waits-ism (still got the comparisons).
I was absolutely horrible at documentation this year, I usually have the chords somewhere on my lyric sheet, not so much this year, not a one as I look at them. So I guess it's MDM for me.
I also managed to accumulate more than a months worth of laundry and dirty dishes some how.
So, here we are again, in/ on the best place on earth with the best people you'll never meet (that would be logistically and financially epic, if you care to endeavor, godspeed to you sir or madam or fish or whatever). I woke up this morning with a song in my head ( let's hope this continues). The lyrics are subconscious nonsense, so I'm going to keep them. I think I have found my personal theme this year, because of this. UNMITIGATED NONSESNSE, things in the world right now a pretty fucked, disinformation run amok, people believing repeated lie, I mean how can starving people, and denying health care, be good for a society, DaDA had I right 100 years ago, it's time to take back the absurd and use it lift rather than crush.

Thanks for listening to my song "Your Last Goodbye", I appreciate it!
The version of Lamborghini posted up here is a shortened version. We now have a slightly extended version which is the one we want to go with. Let me know what site(s) you are looking to post the song and I'll go over it with Julie. Cheers!
Thank you for the feedback on my song Fog! I love alternate tunings and I am glad the buzz was a plus for you 😁! Wow - Judy Collins - what a compliment - thank you so much. This is my first FAWM and it has been a blast!
Thank you for saying nice things about my song!
Thank you for the nice comment on my song Jealousy.
Ooh that looks super cool. Thanks for all your nice comments. We've both been having tough weeks, but hoping to catch up on a lot of listening this weekend 😀 Hope people are still lurking...
Oh, and "St. Alfonzo’s Pancake Breakfast, anyone?" Yes indeed, here we are...
I wish. I just don't have the speed. I will continue to work on it, though. Check out Mattias Eklundh's solo albums if you want to hear someone with monster chops *really* dig in to Frank's compositional style. He's also got FZ's warped and scatalogical sense of humour, too.
I had to really adapt my playing with the guitar synth. You have to be unbelievably fastidious about both picking and fretting - so I guess it's no surprise that Fripp is a master at it. Oh, and I had to turn the synth's sensitivity down a fair whack for both guitars before they'd track reliably. And if I clout the Godin's tremelo arm, tracking goes out of the window. But with a bit of work, you can get good results.
Hahah, hollaaaaaa! 🙌🏼
Thanks for your nice comment on my song Face of God. Feel honored to have it be imagined on trinity sessions. Looking forward to listening to your music in the coming days. Cheers
Thanks for your lovely comment on “Picture in a Frame”!
Thanks for the listen and comment on my inanimate object challenge song!
I don't think I understand how avocado works but I will check it out next time I feel like adding some glitchy something or other!
Thanks for the feedback your tracks were killer! Great bass sounds! All hail real bass!
Thank you so much for your comment on "West of Here" and your encouragement re: illness. Even on good days it's easy to overtax my voice (a couple three-minute songs can make me feel like I've been screaming for three hours), so I have to be careful. Probably will have to step back again now that the month is over, but I'm glad to have participated this year! I now have some listening to catch up on, so will check out some of your stuff for sure.
A true anthem for our times
Thank you for commenting on my song Molly. Kind words.
Thanks for commenting on When I Die!
Thanks for your kudos on ‘shady tree’ looking forward to hearing you 🙌🏾

Lol well we love food so glad our song made you think of it 🤣
Hi! Thank you for listening and comment my track!!
Thanks for the link to MOAR DRUMS! Kontakt is one of the things I bought in the last year, so I can indeed use the patches that require it. Have you seen Cats yet?
Thanks for the comments on Dang Woodchucks. I'm looking forward to hearing your stuff when I get the chance.
Thanks for the drum link and information! I really appreciate it! 😀
Thanks for your comment on my birthday song! Appreciate it.

The bird with wheels is beautiful!
Excellent! Thank you. If you need anything extra, just shout. 😎
have the best FAWM this year!
Hi! Ready for a new year?
Thank you loads for the listen and comments! 😀
Fixed it 😀
It's longer for me, it's a web address. I took off a few things at the end of link. Is it working now?
Hey...I'm not sure why it won't play...I'm using dropbox, copied the link of the file and put it in the "add a song" application. Do you know if there's some way to change the setting in Dropbox so it's see-able? I posted this problem in the tech help forum. 😏
I could certainly use some discombobulation.

You are very welcome! Looking forward to hearing what you do with it! 😀
Hello as well!
OK - ya stumped me!
I've spent all day trying to figure out what "Gildflap" means.
Anyway -- here's to a great FAWM!
Hello from Milw proper!
Hi!! Happy FAWM!
On your mark, get set...well, still a couple hours to go before the gates open.
Link fixed! Just listened to "Death In A Dream Short Ruf". Crazy deep reverb, and an eerie, but intriguing song. I like the layers a lot, and especially the dynamic change when the acoustic sound comes in midway through.
Thanks for your message. Happy Fawming! I'll be listening...
Aaaaaand a big HELLO to you too. Good luck with FAWM this year. I'm looking forward to hearing some of your stuff 😀
Hmm... I tried to follow your soundcloud link to the nebulous song on soundcloud, but it says the track was not found....
Bonjour et bienvenue!!
Wait....who are you? :-p
Y tu mambo, let's boogie... so cool to see you here...
Hey hey! Welcome back.
I see we have a wrench in the works... this machine just wouldn't run right without you. Happy FAWMing!
See it now and write a concept album about it!
I wish you good fortune in the carnage to come.
Thanks for replying to my forum post! Collaborating with you sounds great, I checked out your Soundcloud and you have a great unique sound. You can email me or I can email you and we can chat about what sounds good, if you'd like. Whether now or once FAWM starts. i'm flexible!
Hey, I saw your forum post about having trouble sharing your youtube profile on your page... I'm having the same issue. If I figure it out, I'll let you know what I did... Also, I just wanted to say that I'm also from Wisconsin and look forward to hearing what you write! - Adam
Glad you're back! Looking forward to hearing you do what you do!!!! 😀
