2019 Bio: I can’t believe this is my 10th FAWM!
I'm a strong chord and melody-writer who leans towards the unconventional. I've taken many Nashville songwriting workshops but I don’t let the training kill my creativity.
I'm good at starting lyrics and also good at helping to make existing lyrics more effective.
This year, I’m going to write for the two bands I currently play in: one Rock/Jam band (music available in February) and one Celtic/Folk band (https://drivingroute9.bandcamp.com).
I had fun adding sax parts and solos for other FAWMers in previous years so I'm happy to offer this again. I'm also pretty strong on flute, Irish whistle, and vocals.
Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to collaborate or swap tracks. I'm good with techie stuff too.
I look forward to the community and madness that can only be described as FAWM.
I have a track I'd love a sax solo on. How's your availability looking?
Thanks for your offer of whistle/flute. I’m just trying out an idea with my friend on fiddle and then I’ll see how much space is left over- but I’m definitely interested.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment on "I need to kiss you". Interesting that you should bring u pthat last chorus line that just says "tonight". I went back and forth the whole time while writing and singing it as to whether I should make that line longer. Ultimately in this rendition it become just "tonight", but possibly should go another way. Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I may just use that line. 😀
Hello, fellow Constitution Stater! I look forward to following the FAWM musical output of another resident of this corner of the Northeast!
I'd love to collaborate again, it's always a pleasure and we always come up with interesting stuff. I still need to figure out what kind of album I want to make ...
Hey, hope you're around again this year. I'll be here somewhat at least. Not sure what I'm doing yet, haha.
