Started music in church choir interest in early music. Learned trumpet switched to trombone, first bass guitar at 17, Chris Squire and Jaco fan. Learned guitar as teacher, then piano, enjoyed teaching kids music. Got into recording music with cakewalk. Learned soprano sax at age 40. Dabble with recorders and whistles. Recently moved to Logic Pro with iMac. Still play trombone and bass with wind band. Played in various rock bands but not as much as would have liked. Thanks to everyone for all the fun as a first time fawmling. Really enjoyed listening to lot of talented people. Definitely back next year if the fates are willing.
Thanks for listening to my song "Amelia", I appreciate it!!
Thanks for the comment my bass is just a basic Aria model, recorded line in direct to my DAW with a bit of EQ and chorus added in the mix. Drums are a Roland VDrums electric kit - again straight into the DAW with a bit of EQ
Thank you for the lovely comment left on Worryin' Worryin'
Thank you very much!
Awesome! Really dig the vibe!
Unusual to start with orchestral stuff but recently finished and thought would make a start.
Thanks for the tips. Very welcome as a novice fawmer. (Fawmertive). What’s best way of sharing song ideas? Mp3? MIDI ?
Ah. Recorders! See the recorder thread. And welcome! (BTW stick that comment on collaboration interest up in your bio, people will see it there. Otherwise it will get pushed off the page as others reply to you or just write in to your soundboard. If replying to someone who's written in here on given a song comment, you do it on their soundboard, same reason.)
Welcome, and happy FAWMing!
Interested in collaborating with anyone who has similar ideas (or different). Share mp3s or Logic Pro projects or midi files.
