Hi Mark, just saw the note about Joe Bethancourt and wanted to say, this morning I was talking with someone about the primitive (by current standards) state of tech in the late 1980s, and illustrated it with a Youtube video of Joe playing Frank Hayes' "When I Was A Boy".

Anyway cheers, I'll probably see you at Nonsonance this weekend.

Thank you so much for all your great comments. They are very much appreciated!

And congrats on completing 14... and then some! 18 songs - That's a homerun in your first year!

Thanks for the listen. Yeah, I lived in Indiana before they started the madness of shifting the clock twice a year. I have no idea why I wrote a song about it, but hey... why not?

Thanks, Mark. B5 is a treasure house of song material, just in the quotes alone. One year, as something of a joke, I did an electronic/ambient track where the lyric is just a collection of things that Kosh said, inserted with no attempt at rhythm or rhyme.

Thank you for your encouraging comments on "Come Away!" I tried to make the bridge engaging; I'm glad to hear it seems to have worked!

Thanks for taking the time to listen "Ships of Sand" -- really grateful for the encouraging comments! I hadn't thought consciously about Kipling but I definitely see what you're pointing to... Thanks again!

Portland? Not quite. We're in Oregon City. Close enough for non-Portlanders though, right? 😉

  • @infilktion Feb 21

Thank you for your comment, it made me realize I forgot to list the title of the original song.

Thank you for the comment on "Don't Stop Filking Until Tomorrow "!

  • @infilktion Feb 5

The song doesn't sound right without the riff, so I made sure to learn it. Thanks!

  • @infilktion Feb 5

Thanks! It was great hearing you in circle too! I'd love to hear you on the Uke!

  • @lastnightilie Feb 4

Thanks for your very kind comment on "The Grey." I spent quite a bit of time trying to make sure the melody and lyrics were at least decent, so I'm glad it vibed with you!
