Artist Bio

Influences:   My first LP "AC/DC - Powerage" – uncountable artists of all genres (you included)

Hi there, it's me, Jens.

My first FAWM was back in 2011, and I only skipped 2016 due to work/life related stuff.

The year 2020 with all its flaws and challenges actually brought me closer to my roots musically wise. There is this fire again and the wish to make music – also besides FAWM. Because it's fun and therapy at once.

So, FAWM 2021? Count me in! 😀

I'm open to collaborations of any kind.

Cheers Jens.

P.S.: This year I try hard to focus on songwriting not producing.

Hey ich glaub meine schlaflose Muse hat einen Ansatz für nen Songtext für Sleepless. Ist allerdings sehr melancho geworden. Schreib mir bitte ne Mail. Ich finde deine Adresse hier leider nicht.

Jens I could use MIDI or audio files. MP3 format will work

Thanks for commenting "Wrench on the works"! When I wrote that song I did not think of QOTSA and Soundgarden, but I like that both. I already have an idea how the vocal arrangement could sound like. I'm planning working with layers and letting the tremmolos stick out. Let see how it works 😀 It can take some time until the final version is ready. It will be a quite heavy amount of tracks!

Hey there, I'm totally for a collab! But I fear I won't make it this FAWM, I had some issues last weak I needed to take care of and have lost time, and tried to make good on it and had promised some collabs... But how about after FAWM? We could totally do that, right? 😀 Just send me a mail?

Thanks for your kind words on "Nuff Said". I feel so relieved when people tell me that this is actually good stuff, because this was my first try in that genre. Yes, a groovy bassline would rock that! There's one inside but maybe it's too distorted to distinguish it from the guitars. I hope I can record this song with a real band collab someday. Either with my band or FAWM'lers. Let's see what happens.

Oh, thank you so much for your kind words to "I Say My Prayers By The Neon Lights" - absolutely made my day!

Hey, thanks for your comment on homes like coffins. I'm definitely up for some metal, that is exactly what i had in mind for these lyrics. I don't have any vibes in mind, but i was heavily inspired by the band Fit For An Autopsy great band if you don't know them already. Just do what you think fits the best. can't wait to hear it.

Hi Meadows thank you for stopping by to hear "As the house burns Down" I appreciated the listen and your comments very much. Hard to believe we're past the halfway mark already! It's great we're all together doing this and bringing our collective energies higher.

  • @dantanz1 Feb 12

    Yes! Go for it!

  • @kahlo2013 Feb 10

Hi Jens, I still would LOVE to do a collab with you - please let me know what kind of style or theme you would like me to write for if you are interested.

Hi Jens, thanks for listening to The Infinite and the Polar. Well, I don't really have a modular system. Everything was created on Elektron (Digitone, Digitakt and Octatrack), Arturia Microfreak and a semi-modular analog Synth (Dreadbox Erebus). Maybe I can show you when we meet someday. 😀

Thanks for listening to Flutter! I love that you were on a snowy walk while listening - I actually had snow pictured in my mind as I was recording the song.

Hi there! It is funny to me that you’ve been around longer than I have and I just didn’t know about you. How is that possible? Anyway, best wishes to you in FAWM 2021. I will check back to listen.
