BTW, whether or not you know it, your maga hat song did touch me and made me ponder why I was getting angry at those who wear it. It is just a damn hat. We can't hold it against our fellow man/woman about the way they vote. Sure, I can be POd at who is in office, but that does not/should not filter down to the way I treat my fellow man/woman. And as you said, it is just a damn hat. Thanks for having posted it. I'm grateful I got the chance to read it before you pulled it down 😀

  • @billysea  Feb 23

Hahahaha, that is exactly how I tune my guitar. I tune it to close enough lol

  • @dreamscuba  Feb 17

Thank you for the comments on “Wanktastic”...much appreciated

  • @tseaver  Feb 17

Thanks for the listen / comment on my "Rat Killin' Time." In my vernacular, the phrase connotes an ugly / messy / disgusting task (or phase of a project) which has to be done, no matter how one feels about it.

  • @zxcvbnm  Feb 13

Thanks for your positive comments, as you say "Very few people listening" 😀

  • @wacha  Feb 11

Thank you for your kind words on "The Soil of Your Heart". I'm glad I shifted gears on this one, it worked out well.

  • @rustyp Feb 10

Thanks for listening to my song "Don't Listen"
What I was trying to write about was negative self talk.
Seems that a lot of procrastination is out of fear. "Can I really do a good job at this? Will any one really like it?"
So that's what i was trying to write about. We all have a little liar inside of us telling us we aren't good enough.

Hello Jerry. Thank for considering "Black Coal Train".

  • @billysea  Feb 7

LOL, yeah I the MAGA hat song the other day and it made me think. I think one line was "it's only a hat" and I was pondering how to comment on it but wanted to think on it first.

It was a thought provoking song for me and I'm happy I got to read it. I think far to often things that should be debated without emotion get mired down emotionally.

Anyway, just wanted to say that 😀

  • @billysea  Feb 7

Didn't you have a song about the MAGA hat? I listened to it a couple days ago and have been pondering it. Came back to comment and it is gone (or could it be I'm losing my mind)?

  • @zecoop  Feb 7

Thanks for checking out the creepy subway song! I added some freaky guitar and remixed, so now it is about 1000 times more creepy, in case you wanted to check that out, lol. 😀

  • @phoenixash Feb 5

Thanks so much for the very kind comments, made my day. About the chords, just write what you are playing, it's gonna be right on some dominant or on a borrowed dominant or even inverted chord hahahahahahaah

  • @sunnymae  Feb 5

Thanks so much for dropping by! I'm glad you enjoyed my song about the ghost. Now I'm looking forward to hearing some of yours. Enjoy this amazing time. 😮)

  • @aprilm  Feb 2

Aw, shucks...thanks for your kind words on Blood Wolf Moon. I'll put music up soon - hopefully tonight or tomorrow

  • @misterd Feb 2

Thanks so much for listening & the positive comments on my song ‘Everything & nothing ‘ . Appreciate it . Cheers

Hi Jerry. That's great. If there are any problems with Dropbox in this year's Fawm then we both are in trouble. We'll get through it together!

  • @scottlake  Jan 25

I think I fixed my link in the meta FAWM thread. Thanks for trying and letting me know it didn’t work correctly.

  • @marthie Jan 24

Thank for the feedback. Yes I went to a lady who runs a video school/university on Monday te see if we can upgrade my technology. I love playing on my piano but the keyboard enables me to keep a better balance.

  • @klaus  Jan 23

Hi Jerry. I haven't used Fawm file hosting, only Dropbox and modified links. There have never been any big problems I can remember.

I'm not sure about this next, I can't remember, but I think last Fawm the Dropbox linked demos wouldn't play directly in the Fawm Player. Instead, a new tab opened and the demo played automatically in there. No biggie.

If you want to make sure that your demos play in Fawm Player then I suggest you use Fawm File Hosting option.

I'll be happy to give more advise anytime if you need them. All Dropboxers Unite! 😀

Jerry, thanks for the nice comment about my old song Better Place. Looking forward to some new songs this year.

  • @oddbod  Jan 22

Hi, thanks for popping by. Yeah, that backwards thread does get confusing but glad you liked the poem (which was very tongue-in-cheek)! Have a great February

  • @marthie Jan 22

    Happy FAWMing 2019.
Looking forward to hear what you come up with this February.
I am planning to focus on songs for Easter in this year’s FAWM.

Hey Jerry, my friend I'm using this one Faststrings ok bro. I'm looking forward to working on songs with you this year to.

  • @tcelliott  Jan 21

It's good to see you. Honestly, I forgot all about that email. But I'm sure glad you made it back.

  • @klaus  Jan 21

Hey Jerry. Thanks for the warm welcome. I like your songs too. You have a natural talent. I wish you a Flamboyant and Formidable Fawm 2019. 😀

  • @johnstaples  Jan 21

Hiya Jerry! Congrats to you too in advance!! 😁

For my recordings I just use the zoom h4n and put it inside a DIY square cube "sound booth". I sing into the cube or play into the cube for acoustic instruments.

And I record in a quiet basement room that is filled with boxes of junk! When I move I may find that my "magic" was those junk boxes!

  • @klaus  Jan 12

Hi Jerry. Thank you for listening and commenting on We Better Get Along. I'm glad you liked it. And extra credit for busting my Zong. Have a nice day!
