Artist Bio

Influences:   This sounds clichΓ©, but really everything influences me musically. I really love a good solid bass line, a smooth, slidey cello riff, a spirited fiddle, a killer beat... I love to hear non-instruments used as instruments. I LOVE sweet harmonies... echoey electric guitar... Sometimes I squirrel one of these good things into my own music.

2019 = 3rd FAWM for me!

I'm pumped for another February of songwriting and songlistening and can't wait to discover phresh music from fellow Fawmers.

I have a 'simple' goal of meeting the 14-song mark this year, and trying to keep my music uncomplicated 😁 We will see how that goes.

Social media wise, I mainly use Insta: ohleahleah.

    And about the Regina Spektor vibe: thank you! I used to listen to her a lot around 10 years ago, and I still like the playfulness of her music. So thanks!

  • @repsurepa Feb 21

    Thank you and sorry for the delayed response! Anyways, so nice to hear – warms my heart! Actually I'm releasing an EP most likely in April! It depends on the vinyl pressing schedule. But it'll be on Spotify, so please do have a listen once it's been released! πŸ˜€

    Thanks for your comment on To Love You Like I do. Really appreciate it.

    Hi Leah, thanks for checking out "Mererah Wine" and taking the time to comment. Mererah is a Hebrew word reference to bitter; bitterness and some variations are a reference to gall, so thought it an appropriate word to use for the song. Yeah, I couldn't get it through Google either. It took a little bit of investigating to learn of the word.

    Thanks Leah! Glad you enjoyed the tune. Yeah, those little notes wiggling are just little slight bends πŸ˜‰

    Hadn't thought about "The Man from U.N.C.L.E. in a very long time. (We weren't allowed to watch it when I was a kid, had we been allowed maybe my vocabulary would be bigger?) Thanks for your comment on PSA: Zombie Alert. Much appreciated.

    Heya, thanks for your comment on Shoelaces. Odd song, it turned out way more laid back than I originally intended. Soothing is a good word. Maybe I should keep it like this. πŸ˜€
