Influences: I like new stuff that sounds old and old stuff that sounds new. So many that it would be overwhelming to list.
Drummer dude/Medical professional/Dad turned songwriter. Have been successful with FAWM a few times now (2011, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2020, and 2021!
1/31/21: Oh man, it’s been a real shit year.
2/02/21:Holy shit, I feel so happy to be doing this again and thankful for all of you.
2/04/21: man, FAWM was needed more than ever this year. Feeling like I haven’t found my groove yet, but hearing everyone’s songs is helping.
2/09/21: this year is something special.
2/12/21: oh shit, it’s snowing. Studio is gonna be cold.
2/13/21: oh fuck, there goes the electricity
2/14/21: well, still no electricity - guess I’ll use my phone to record something
2/14/21: power back on!
2/15/21: there goes the electricity again...
2/17/21: power back - let’s rawk!
2/18/21: oh damn, this is gonna be over soon..
2/23/21: this feels like the shortest and longest month ever.
2/28/21: it’s like 10 pm on the last night of Fawm. I’m a couple songs over my goal, and yet the green upload button is looking right at me, just wanting me to add something else...just don’t want this creative party to end.

Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such nice comments. Much appreciated. And congratulations on the win yourself. I've listened to a few of yours and you have a good distinctive sound. It was a good FAWM this year, wasn't it? Makes up for all the other nonsense going on.
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen to 'Perfection' and the lovely comment you made. I appreciate it!
Hey, thanks for the comment on The Choir....it was a crazy idea and a pretty cool process, as I just got part A. Then his idea was that we blindly do part B, then I wrote part C and then I did drums for the whole thing and he did vocals. Crazy. Thanks for the comment!
Hey, thanks so much for your comment on Ajax 409! It was such a lot of fun to do!
You're almost done! I have been slammed at work so haven't been able to do much more than just get my own songs out. I'm hoping to make some time to listen through your catalog after February 28th. Not sure I'll actually get to 14 as it is.
Thanks for your nice words over on my songs.
Thanks for the kind comments, being prolific is a direct result of being locked in my house by my crazy government. Every cloud though 😀
Definitely an album there, just need to sort though at the end and it will have many fine collaborations
Thanks for listening! I’m back for a few more
Hey there, I love your journal entries for the month! Haha. I’m going to have a few listens, as I am a drummer dude, too. Great job so far and I’m glad that this FAWM has been fruitful and satisfying.
What, you don't have a shitty upright bass in your house? I thought everybody did.
Wow. The whole batch is just kicking ass.
Every song you have uploaded is awesome! Carrot sandwich and elmo is my favorite fawm song since Poop and Cry by fellow Portlander @Lexicon503. What's up with you guys out there? You have a keen sense of pop without the trappings of formula and cliché. Very enjoyable! Oh, and your website is the best. You've got a shoutout to like everybody there...
Hey man, not sure how comments work on this site so I'm just hitting you up here.
I saw your comment over on my song about offering drum parts - if you want to add anything to any of my jams please do and I'll mix them in. I'm a shitty drummer and record a shitty Pearl Export kit with a shitty mono overhead. Anything you can add is welcome.
And if you have drum loops you're wanting to give away to get other folks started on writing songs, I'll take those too. It's good to start with a basic nice rhythm.
hey thanks for listening to and saying things about my song! it is much appreciated, FAWMER!
Thanks for the listens and comments over on my page. Portland dad songwriters unite! Love Moving to China, it's got that good bedroom pop sound. Listening to others later, work is getting in the way of my FAWMing today.
Thank you for your kind words on "worry!" Yeah, I found that last year was a hard one with OCD and have learned that many people with some form of anxiety have been having similar struggles. I knew at least one song this year would address that!
Hey man! Good to see you hear again!
Beware the intensity of Marmite...! You'll either love it or hate it. I would imagine best to go to a British shop... if there are any near where you live.
