I've been developing a show called ALL TOGETHER NOW. It's not your average 2-hour interactive musical variety show live stream. I'm always on the lookout for new musical guests.

This is my first FAWM. I've been in a CoViD-induced funk. I'm here to be inspired. My demos will all be acoustic-one-take on a Zoom H2 recorder. Lyrics and melody are paramount.

I'm open to collaboration and look forward to hearing a lot of great songs!

Cheers, all.

Really enjoy your songs--thanks for the kind words on mine. I'm a fan!

Thanks so much for your listen and comments on "This Is Home." I appreciate your feedback on which lyrics stood out. Hearing from right after I posted absolutely made my night. Thank you!

  • @klyma Feb 23

Hey friends, my first FAWM collaboration is a song called "Promise," written with Phil Norman. Phil produced and recorded a cool demo of the song. Here's a link to a video of me playing it, just voice and piano: https://youtu.be/DFov0IRXtI4

    Hope ya dig it!

Thank you once again for a lovely and detailed comment. I often spend a lot of time on word flow and various kinds of rhyme, so it's nice to know it's being picked out and appreciated! I hadn't thought about it before, but I agree that cello would be an excellent addition.

  • @themelgoexperience  Feb 18

Thanks for your comments on my songs so far--I really appreciate the feedback! I'm very much enjoying listening to yours and think you're a fine guitar player, writer, and singer indeed.

  • @cleanshoes  Feb 18

Whoa! Thank you so much for mentioning me in the recommended songs thread. I'm incredibly honored by your comments. Nice to make your acquaintance as well!

  • @midwayfair  Feb 17

Whoa, I had no idea you were here, Greg! No wonder you've got like three albums every year 😀

  • @klyma Feb 17

@metalfoot Right?! SO good. Here in February Album Writing Month, I try to focus all my commenting on writing, but man alive, she sings great. I love her voice and how she uses it. Her brilliant lyrics are lucky to have such an amazing delivery system at their disposal.

  • @metalfoot  Feb 17

Just saw your post on the Recommended thread and thought I'd pop by to agree with every word you said about @cleanshoes -- an amazing talent.

  • @tjeff  Feb 17

Thanks so much for your comment on my west wind song. Your point about "prairie" is well-taken, thanks! If I re-visit the song I will definitely be looking at that.

  • @cleanshoes  Feb 16

  • @klyma Feb 13

@evinwolverton Great to hear from you! Just listened AGAIN to your fabulous song (and recommend everyone else go get some). I'm gonna try something and send it to you. 😀

  • @evinwolverton  Feb 13

Thank you for your comment on End Of Illusion! I’m so glad you brought up the “end of the dream” tags not adding anything — I agree. Some form of repetition feels right there. Should it simply be “end of illusion” 2x? Or is a repeat even needed?

  • @klyma Feb 12

Oh, cool. That means I did my job 😁

  • @themelgoexperience  Feb 12

Also I’ve had your internet song stuck in my head the last couple of days

  • @themelgoexperience  Feb 12
