Thanks for listening to "Lament on a Winter's Eve" and sharing some pieces of your life with me. I am so sorry for your loss. It is a miserably cruel world. Living without any closure, that must be hard. It is good we can make songs or poems, imbue a narrator with some of our own story and let that narrator carry some of our pain. FAWM is a good place to process some of this, with good people. I'm glad you are here.

Thanks for checking out Emily and taking the time to share your thoughts! I'm glad you like the inner rhyme, it actually happened by accident and I wasn't sure it would work, but it just seems to suit the melody (I have in my head!) 💛

I want to try some a cappella composing of lyric and melody like I did as a thirteen-year old. I also want to try some extremes like a one-chord song and a song that changes chords every beat.
