Influences: Allan Holdsworth, negativland, Frank Zappa, Rick Beato, King Crimson, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Morcheeba, Oscar the Grouch, Dani Daniels, Marx Brothers
This year's FAWM effort is dedicated to an extraordinary musician and teacher, Rick Beato. The fresh work he is doing in presenting musical concepts known and familiar as well as complex is phenomenal. Highly recommend you check him out.
Eclectic AF. Might write a piano concerto this year. Or something else. Maybe a 12 tone thing. AKA heavyconfetti, norelpref, stone gas honey, van go juice, and more.

And that's all, folks, for another FAWM. Now to finally do the laundry....
@visiblydistorted Sounds good! Looking forward to it.
Hey hey, I will try to email you some vocal stems. Probably dropbox links or something. Maybe Google drive. I will get on that tonight! Thanks for suggesting the collab!
I'd like to opt-out of the valentine's day absurdity if I could. Please restore my original profile pic. If you could just do that, that would be really great.
Thanks for the review. I appreciate it.
After troubleshooting all morning I finally have tracks that don't bleed into one another. Yay! Had to revert to an old Behringer interface and dump the Roland Quad-Capture. Whatever! I just want stuff to work, so I can get to work. Should be releasing another track later on today.
@visiblydistorted high res mp3s are fine.
Sounds fun, what file format do you prefer for vocal stems?
Looking forward to hearing what you come out with. Intrigued!
I've mapped out 14 songs. The titles, musical frameworks and the themes. Now to "fill in the blanks." A combination of midi programming, found sound, sampling, playing guitar, tweaking, having fun, generally.
@benjo I'm on it. ๐
Hey bud thank you
but to be honest I couldn't really put it to anything Hendrix did
this lyric is more of an outside view, so doesn't really have to be in a Hendrix style, but I suppose it would be nice if it had that touch
hope this helps in some way
thank you
sorry I didnt say the title of the lyric
I can still hear your guitar
Thanks again sir
Hey bud thank you for your kind offer, but I cannot sing,
oh I wish I could
thank you so much for taking the time to read my lyric it means a lot to me
Tony
Thanks for the comment. Have a great FAWM. (:
Prepared to begin creating noise that is unprepared. Many FAWMS I start with a theme or leit motif, however this year whatever flows through the noggin and fingers will be largely extemporaneous
Hi Tony, I haven't heard your previous FAWM stuff, but I will be looking for some "Lead" and Solo Guitar player track stuff that is a match for Greg Lake... in style I'm going to be putting together a (kind of) the 1960s "Shadows" ... you know "Apache." It'll be a Retro piece. It could be very intricately involved. If you have an interest, my email is on my Profile page.

Hello! Iโm glad that you will have the month for this year! I wish I did. Oh, and I LOVE Rocky and Bullwinkle....the tv show. I like your quote.
Oh damn. Negativland and uncle frank as your first two influences? Respect.
