Thanks mucho, Hanna, for the kind words on "Three Big Words".

All your own stuff is wonderful!

  • @elliottlawrence Mar 7

Thank you for the nice comments! A Ben Folds comparison is always a great compliment. Also congrats on reaching the finish line!

  • @sherrycanary  Mar 7

Thank you for your lovely comments on Time to Live Again. I really wanted to put something positive out into the world, and was glad I was able to sing it post surgery and pre the end of FAWM!

  • @audrey  Mar 4

A belated thank you for your kind comment on "Choir's Back!"

  • @lizbrinker  Mar 4

Hey, @hbusse ! I'm so glad you heard The Twelve Bar Blues! Thanks for stopping by. Looks like you had a productive month! I have seen your name so many times as people pick their favorite FAWMers. Where should I start? Are there one or two or three you would like to have more ears on?

  • @bradbrubaker  Mar 2

    You are certainly welcome!

  • @richaaaay  Mar 1

I just noticed on the recommendation thread that you had previously recommended @davidtaro ’s Emmanualle. That song is so good and I was thinking about recommending it myself before I saw you had already done so. That’s definitely one of my favorite this year. So relatable, cleverly written and beautifully produced. He’s so talented...

  • @richaaaay  Mar 1

Hi Hannah, thank you so much for the comment on, and recommendation of, The Twelve Bar Blues. @lizbrinker is quite the talent and it was a joy to ride her coattails.

You’ve got quite some talent yourself. I enjoyed listening to your songs.

  • @b3nut Mar 1

Thanks Hannah for all the encouragement and for talking me into doing this...hopefully I'll be more prolific next year... 😁 Gave me a much-needed kick in the pants... 😉

  • @misterd Mar 1

Thanks so much Hannah for listening and the positive comments on my song ‘ Trail of hope ‘ . You are a wonderful music / songwriter and have taken the time to listen thoughtfully to much of my work (and others) . I just wanted to say Thankyou kindly . Very much appreciated . All the best . Cheers Mark 😊👋

  • @ozcompr  Mar 1

Thanks for your feedback on This Is Our Time!

  • @rangermike  Feb 28

Thank you for your kind words, and for bringing me to you site. It's a bit late to click on the watch button but there's a whole year to catch up to your songs, and your contacts. Just listened to your "Hear Me Now" and my foots still tappin!

  • @engebretsen  Feb 28

Thx a lot for comments! Much appreciated!

  • @cherok40 Feb 28

Thanks a lot for listening to my track "Lullaby For A Cat". Very much appreciated!

  • @kahlo2013 Feb 27

Oh yes! I think I sent you an email this morning but i may have been dreaming!

  • @skibum1066  Feb 27

Hannah, I see that there are many songwriters and Lyricists from Madison many of whom I have interacted in my very first fawm. I also see that you are a church musician/worship director at a church. I'm curious! Is there a Madison songwriting group based in your church (or in one of the Madison churches? ) If so, what church? I am considering such a venture at my church.

  • @apolez3 Feb 27

Hey, thanks for letting me know, glad you got some lyrical raps.

  • @apolez3 Feb 27

Hey, Thanks for the comment on 'Worryin' Worryin' ' xoxoxoo

  • @davidtaro  Feb 26

Awwww, Hannah, thank you so much for the reciprocal commentage! And the recommend, which is a bit above and beyond really 😂! Those strings.... I actually just plugged them in direct on a midi roll. I'd usually try and 'play' the instruments via a keyboard, but that tends to take a wee bit longer than you have for a typical FAWM song...

  • @liz561  Feb 26

Thanks for your comment on Stop, Drop and Roll. The drums would be great for sure. I kept wishing that Jerry Lee Lewis would drop in and give me some fantastic piano!!

  • @misterd Feb 26

Thanks so much Hannah for your beautiful comments and kind words . I think you are an amazing musician and songwriter so it is very gratifying to receive positive words from you . One of the great reasons why I love being on FAWM . Cheers 😊👋

  • @cleanshoes  Feb 26

Thank you so much for your comment on Living On the Moon!

  • @jonmeta  Feb 25

Just want to say thanks for giving encouragement to my lyric writing. I have a long-time songwriting partner who's a much better lyricist than me, but FAWM is a chance to try some of my own.

  • @hummingbear  Feb 23

Thanks for listening to "Lament on a Winter's Eve." It's been quite a year.

  • @scottlake Feb 23

Thanks Hannah on the Transcendence and Immanence comment. I will be doing vocals eventually.

  • @musicsongwriter  Feb 23

Hi Hannah, thank you for your kind comment on You Treat Me Like a King.

You are quite welcome! Flutter is a beautiful song worthy of being heard and enjoyed!

  • @bradbrubaker  Feb 1

Ha! No, definitely a Garageband marimba.

    Thanks for making "Flutter" downloadable.

I recognise myself..... in the mooooooon!

..still sing that to myself now and again 😀

  • @andygetch  Jan 29

    Hello and welcome back!

  • @tseaver  Jan 28

Here is one of those "distanced" recordings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rWXaEhHsmyc

"Open your ears, O faithful people," to the tune Yisroel V'oraita (sp?) is one we do with some success in the klezmer vein. I can't find a recording of our version, unfortunately.

  • @owl  Jan 27

    Happy FAWMing!

  • @johncrossman  Jan 27

HB returning?!? Neat. That's an unirionic neat, btw. Kids today with their irony... hope you and yours are well. Happy fawming, let's hear it!

  • @dasbinky  Jan 27

Welcome back to the fun! 😁
I always look forward to hearing your sounds!

  • @tseaver  Jan 27

Oooh, accordion. My main gig (pre-COVID) is playing in the jazz ensemble at the historic Episcopal church here in Fredericksburg (VA, not TX). From time to time, we dig out one of a couple of klezmer-ish hymns, which make me long for accordion -- our alto sax player is really a clarinetist by day, so we get by.

We've made a couple of "distanced" recordings since, which has kept me sane (mostly).
