First time Fawmer! Using this as an inspiration to start writing again using a MacBook Pro and Logic Pro X. Usually write indie/funk/rock guitar music - expanding my palette to dabble in electro / synth pop

Thanks a ton for a super nice comment and welcome to FAWM! (Now that FAWM is done, lol). I loved the songs I heard and will definitely be listening to more. Glad you had such a great time here and got some collabs in. This was my 11th and it is awesome every year.

Oh, also, Vom and I have written songs each year for the last few so we kind of have an EP, even though it is spread out on my various Bandcamp albums, haha. 😎

Maybe I have to rethink if I should turn "Sky Scraper" into a trashy Eurovision song. I have to save these lyrics for sure 😁

As for my and @nateger's ballad "Don't tell me if it hurts" I am pleased, that you enjoyed though beeing a very rough sketch. I don't think that we get it done until easter. We have to transpose the song, record the vocals and hopefully the guitars in layers aswell. Even if I had all the stems right now, I'd take at least two weeks to get it mixed and mastered in a proper quality. We agreed on finishing this project as soon as possible.

If you're interested in the result(s), you should follow me on Facebook or SoundCloud. I will post all of my songs there as soon as they are ready. The album will be on Bandcamp, but this can take even more time. I have to wait for every collaboration to be finished (FAWM + 3 outside), create some artwork and stuff. I hope my album will be ready this year, but this really depends on the amount of songs and stems.

Yes, it's a pity that FAWM shuts down and that I am not able to produce that quickly as multi-instrumentalists who record everything on their own. But I'd like to take my time and doing quality stuff 😀 And I really appreciate the contacts and reviews!

Amazing that you’ve managed to do so many really great songs. This last one shows what can be done with guitar and pedals. I love the really distorted one that starts at 1:43. It’s a real hook. It should include that line that used to be in Queen albums - no synthesisers were used on this track. Marvellous.

Thank you for your appreciation and kind comments on 'Black and White [Take 2]' No, I did this one later, the original skirmish one is 'Black and White' whose writing was marred by trying to avoid Niall Horan's track 'Black and White' running through my mind. So decide to attempt it again 😀

Great song again. I love the build up starting at 2:19. very descriptive of the topic. exciting guitar and bass sounds work well with the synths. loved it.

Thanks for your kind words! It's really hard to write rock and metal music without playing guitars, so I'm delighted to all the comments from guitarists. Lets see if a collaboration happens to finish this song with real instruments.
