Influences: Amanda Palmer, Regina Specktor, Tim MInchin, Rachel Bloom Disney movies and musical theatre
I'm a singer/songwriter, composer, improv music director, and teacher based in Chicago. I describe my aesthetic as folk rock meets musical theatre. My songs vary from comedic observational style humor to deep vulnerable ballads about growth and life and such.
This is my third year doing FAWM and I'm so excited to see what comes out!

Oh, that's OK 😀 Thank you for the follow up. There's a few things happening around FAWM, not related to you that made me consider posting that, for clarity in general. We are all just FAWMers here walking that path.
- I was otherwise waiting, - another FAWMism. There's so many it seems!
- Best of outcomes for you!, I'm sure it'll be great! It's always good to look before you leap as they say, - both sides of a collaboration.
Check your gmail.
Like all people, of all instruments, you have a go-to rhythm, rhythmic melody that comes through all here. Not that you would not know of what I speak, i.e., "kitchen table bongos", everyone play's'em and all different and the same every time. (When I sit a drum kit, - "oh, that's him over there gett'in ready", or as "singer-songwriter" with 1v1g - kinda hard to escape that sound... and why on SS Night, they all sound the same; well, so to speak (not really, but like a harmonica player... how different? Diff enough 😉 ) ).
Interesting work. Happy FAWM2020!
WOW - Sleep and Fight - did you do all that on that cat keyboard???? HAHAHAHAHA - I can't wait for my husband to hear this. He's going to want to go back to the store and get one!! Fun, Fun, Fun song! I love it!!!
I'm interested in learning more about your improv music history. I was a MD for The Second City National Touring Company and was TJ and Dave's MD for two shows they directed at iO. Plus we had our own improv collective called Bang Bang. But most of that was 20 years ago.
Hi fellow musical theater type person! Thanks for visiting my songs! So happy to hear yours 😊
I’d love to meet up and swap tarot songs sometime! They’re such great inspiration. 😀
