This is my 7th FAWM! I appreciate everyone who takes the time to listen to my songs. I'm here for the community, and how cheering each other on inspires me to create and to be a better listener. I'm hard enough on myself so please, be gentle with any constructive criticism.

  • @sph  Mar 8

Thanks for listening for the "Ukulele dance of the bariton kittens" tune. The things you're doing for FAWM...

  • @wrenarcher  Mar 6

    Hey GA1!
Thanks for listening to my “It’s High Time” song.

So about it being about anyone from 19 to 90... I know right! I love that about this song. And that it could be someone fleeing an ugly situation or like my mother in-law, just entering into a new, different one.

Thanks for listening and commenting. And thanks so, so very much for your encouragement, compliments, your songs and... just everything. Thanks for making my fawm experience so dang awesome. Muah!!!

  • @emilyc Mar 6

  • @iwilleatyou Mar 2

    Thanks for the listen!

  • @imaginary1 Feb 28

I saw your name gardening angel and loved it ha ha. So I stole it and used it in a lyric in a song 'the love you seek', I hope you don't mind!

  • @berni1954  Feb 26

Glad you liked "The Women they Tried to Blot Out" - well worth looking those pioneers up.

  • @hummingbear  Feb 26

Thanks for your comment on Sea Chantey or Not? I'll drink a shandy with you!

  • @berni1954  Feb 23

Queen Beaver says thank you darling 😘

  • @dzdandcunfsd  Feb 23

Thanks! That wasn't a quote I'd heard before either, but would have to agree with. I just personally (usually) try a way to do it without being overtly so 😉

  • @nancyrost  Feb 22

Oh, sorry about that! Lost track in the thick of fawming. Thanks!

  • @nancyrost  Feb 22

Hey, checking in to see when tape 4 was mailed ... i will put up a placeholder, but still trying to keep track.

  • @daveyboy103  Feb 22

Thanks very much for you kind comments on Let's Face it. A like button would be a good addition I think

Hi Gardening... thank you so much for your super kind words on my last couple of songs... “smoke follows beauty” and “the melting snow”. Wow... I’m about to cry. I mean... for you to say my voice is gorgeous and on the other “tender and intimidate” and that you thought my melody is beautiful. God... thank you so much. I don’t know what to say. I’m humbled beyond words.

You mentioned the brushes and drums being “spot on” with the jazz song. Soooo... I need to come clean. And I probably should have put this in the liner notes but the brush work and kick on the jazz kit were not my doing. At least it wasn’t entirely. I found an app that helped me out with that. But because I was meandering a little with the time on my guitar work I had to start and stop the drum app manually as I was live recording it with my guitar track. I also manually triggered fills as it was playing with my recorded guitar track. That’s how the fills and other things going on with the drums were so well placed.

Thanks for your perceptive comments on "Lament on a Winter's Eve." It's been a year for grief and loss, stacked up all over the place. There's solace in nature sometimes. Writing this, putting it out there and getting feedback was helpful. Kadmad202 is providing music and vocals and those will probably be posted over the weekend.

  • @leslie  Feb 19

I am completely in love with your strangeness. So glad I get to listen to your songs.

  • @hmorg  Feb 19

Thanks for the comment! Judging by your handle you're somewhat of an expert on the matter so the praise is extra appreciated.

  • @persaab Feb 19

Thank you for listening and comments.

  • @dzdandcunfsd  Feb 18

Uninhabitable you say??!!! Forget all my info just take my soul!!!! 🤣

  • @blindkiwi  Feb 18

Hey there, thanks for the great comments. They are very much appreciated. 😀

  • @riffraff1990 Feb 18

Thanks for checking out my songs 🙂

  • @richaaaay  Feb 17

    Forget that, there is now...

  • @richaaaay  Feb 17

Is there supposed to be a song here? There’s no link.

  • @mikeb Feb 16

Thanks for the comment on my collab with Tammy!

  • @richaaaay  Feb 14

Thanks for listening to my song, and commenting on, The Rock.

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 14

Thanks a lot for your comments on "Troll-Trap" <3

  • @chroes  Feb 11

Thank you so much for your message! <3 If you're really interested, most of my inktober stuff is archived now, but there are still some ink sketches and drawings left if you scroll way back like here:
    Thank you for being weird!

  • @complexissimple Feb 11

I added you as a collaborator and attached your demo. If you have anything to say about it in the liner notes, you should be able to edit it to add that in now.

  • @chroes  Feb 11

Hey there, I just read in the forums you're another strange person who participated in nanowrimo and inktober, and now FAWM, just like me! 👋🌈

  • @complexissimple Feb 8

If you let me know when you have the recording done, I can set you as a collaborator and we can update the demo on the original post rather than making a new one (so the song isn't counted twice on my profile).

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 6

Thank you very much for your loving and touching comments <3

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 6

sorry i was so enchanted - i wanted give you a comment on "Grey Dawn" 😉

  • @grenzgaengerin Feb 6

OH your voice is touchingly beautiful. The gentleness, an evocative atmosphere. Add to that delicate synth sounds, oh I'm enchanted

  • @complexissimple Feb 5

If you want to record a demo for my nonsense sea shanty, please do! I was hoping someone would.

  • @candle  Feb 5

Merci for all the wonderful comments! As for the Sea Cucumber, well it's one of my favourite Jeskola Buzz effects: (it's not a VST, but a native Buzz Machine). And for the vox on Apex, there is a pitch shifter applied to the right channel (FSM's TunaMan - another native Buzz machine). But I wonder if I played with it some more to get a more female sounding vox? I might experiment. Thanks!

    See You In The Shadows…

  • @chroes  Feb 4

Thank you for your kind comment! <3 Much appreciated!

  • @candle  Feb 1

Thanks you so much for the comment on Escape. Not sure where it came from, but I'm glad my Muse had me sit down & record it.

  • @ineloquentsd  Jan 29

Thank you for the warm welcome! ✨✨✨

  • @wrenarcher  Jan 28

    Hi G-Angel
Thanks for adding me to your watchlist.
Doing the same. Just listened to a couple off your SoundCloud. Really cool. Strange, odd, different but in a good way.

Hope you have a fun, productive FAWM. Muah!

  • @hummingbear  Jan 27

Happy FAWMing! Let this be a magic month for weirdos and muppets and bears and such.

  • @andygetch  Jan 24

Hello Moriah and it is great to see you here again 😀

  • @hornesgiftshop  Jan 18

Nice to see you still here. Can't promise any lyrics based on conversations overheard on trains this year, since we're not allowed to go anywhere. (Although the trains are still running past our house twice a day, empty. Isn't the world a strange place?)
