Thanks @freddie13! You did a great job for your first FAWM. Let me know if you've gotten to work on my lyrics for The Infinite Game.

Well here we are at the end of fawm..
I have to admit when I signed up I really had my doubts about creating 14 songs in 28 days...when I got my trophy 20 was my next goal..and I reached that.
It has been a real changing experience for myself..not always being the most confident in my songwriting ability, this has been great for letting me just cut loose and write.
Thank you to @kenmattsson @crutherford @mandolinda @ductapeguy for all your support.
    See everyone next year..
    Happy song writing..

Lee! I am over joyed you joined me on this wild romp this February. You are such an incredible talent - and you've written 20 stellar songs in 28 days!?!? I just realised I didn't hear one of them. I will fix that very soon. Bravo and let's aim to do it again next year! xoxo

@freddie13 Thanks for taking a shot at my lyrics. I'm also planning on writing a melody, so I'm going to wait until I've written mine before I listen to yours. Just didn't want you to feel like I wasn't appreciating your effort. I just don't want to be swayed in advance!

@moonraccoon might still play with your song. Very interesting lyrics.

Thanks, Lee. I would love to have heard your version.

@freddie13 Thanks for your comments on my comments! I've found this FAWM (which in many ways is really my first) to have been an amazing experience (somewhat exhausting, but great nonetheless). After all these years of not letting my creative thoughts out, this has been an exercise in just letting them flow out regardless of how good I might think they are. I have plenty of time after this to make things "more perfect" but I don't have to do that if I don't want to. This for me has been about owning what I have to offer unapologetically, and being okay with the consequences. I have been drawn to your music as I've feel the same energy from you. Good for you!

I really appreciate that you asked. Some lyricists have clear plans for how they want their songs to sound, but not me. I enjoy surprises. Honestly, for The Elephant Spoke to the Snake, don't worry about what I might want. Similar to @metalfoot's Fake It Challenge, this is your opportunity to:
    - interpret what the words are saying to you,
    - decide whether there are any words you'd like to change,
    - apply your style and sensibilities to them, and
    - figure out how you wish to present those words to your audience.
    Most importantly, have fun 😀

@freddie13 , I am old. I have lived a life of stepping up and doing things. I have never been one to sit back and let life pass me by.
All my songs are things in my life, some small and insignificant and others are a bit more outlandish. BUt it has been a good ride.
