    Thx M r. 🐡

  • @gm7  Mar 16

Thx for comment on New 67 year fingers are losing a little dexterity but I AM NOT STOPPING!!

  • @gm7  Mar 15

"One step closer" of favs for this FAWM hands down. PS Don't tell anyone!

  • @lennie  Mar 11

Thanks for your comment on 'Keep me guessing'. I'm glad I have managed to evade genre labels.

  • @quork  Mar 10

Thanks for listening to Monke in the Middle. Great comment! That song was probably my most fun to write and record this FAWM.

  • @farmyardorchestra Mar 8

Hello, Fonte! You generously described my Marilyn the Blue Eyed Cow some weeks ago as "HIGHLY original" and that you wanted "MORE". I can now happily announce to you that there is 16 more pieces at the farmyard. The quantity is there, but I can't guarantee the quality (or originality). πŸ˜€

  • @cleanshoes  Mar 6

Thank you so much for your comment on The Worst of It!

  • @octaviankelp Mar 6

Thanks for your nice comment The Magpie Laughs, it took me ages to answer because something was processing through my mind, I completely agree with the spy film impression. Actually I might make a video of it, I have a friend with a super 8 camera, and was thinking maybe the French Riviera instead of the Alps, and I'm no Michael Caine but I could do it, just need a fancy car and a turtle neck... So thanks again, lots of new ideas!

  • @dancrook Mar 5

Bro congrats on 14 songs! Impressive achievement.
Thanks for your feedback on my stuff- was great to read that as I was reflecting on what I've uploaded. And always nice to have encouragement from someone I like the music of too. AND thanks for being specific in your feedback- always so much better when you know what people liked/didn't. You make music rest of the year too?

  • @iwilleatyou Mar 4

Haha thanks again! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • @iwilleatyou Mar 2

I think the reason why you love it is because you love it. Thanks for the listen!

  • @davidtaro  Mar 1

You’ll regret that offer of a collab you know 🀣. Have always wanted to do something funky, but alas I’m just not a particularly funky person. You’re my ticket in!!

  • @gm7  Mar 1

Thx for comments on All I know. I would say that i will listening to your stuff and others over the next few weeks, Thx again.
You made it to 14 Yeah!

  • @saxylizbeth Mar 1

Hi - thank you for your comment on PRS. I'm so glad they changed their minds but I don't think it was my song that did it lol. Distorted sax solos ended up being a bit of a theme this year because of the success of this first one!!

  • @davidtaro  Feb 28

Also, so jealous you've seen Prince more than once. The only time I ever did I was right at the top of the O2. I mean he was tiny human anyway, but he was microscopic in that context. He still blew the roof off though.

  • @davidtaro  Feb 28

I love that feeling of 'what the f**k for I do now?!' FAWM is so intense, right? Congratulations on a phenomenal month's work mate πŸ™Œ

  • @boyatheart Feb 28

Hey thanks for the comments over the month. My FAWM is pretty much done now. I may get some time for more listening & commenting soon.
Anyway, feel free to shoot me an email (you can get it from my profile page) if you're ever interested in collaborating outside of FAWM.
You did some really good stuff this year. Nice one.

  • @itoarazi Feb 27

    You're nearly there, as well!!

  • @princesssavania Feb 27

You think 'Oh, My Darling' is FIRE?? omg thank you! You made my day! Milkshake, Slave 4 U, and Hollaback Girl have been the vibes for me as of late, so that Neptunes influence was BOUND to jump out at some point when I went to produce lol glad you peeped it!

  • @jeff9  Feb 27

Thanks very much for the nice comments on "If Anybody Cares"!

  • @davidtaro  Feb 27

Imagine being able to call upon a real life tuba player! Nah, that was just the bog standard virtual tuba in Logic. Sounds decent, but sadly not the real thing πŸ˜€

  • @phlecksy Feb 24

Hi @fonte - many belated thanks for your nice comment on my effort a couple of weeks ago!

  • @davidtaro  Feb 24

Hey there. Cheers for the Randy Newman comparison the other day - you're right, that is the single biggest compliment any songwriter can ever get. The man is a legend - seen him live I think 3 times now. Hopefully we emerge from this crapness in time for him to tour again....

  • @zedisdead Feb 23

Thanks for listening, and commenting on " Nougat2 " good fawm 2021

  • @oswlek Feb 22

Many thanks for your kind comment on "Candles". I appreciate you giving it a whirl. πŸ‘

  • @dreamisover Feb 20

Thanks for listening to "Let Me Down", really appreciate it. Glad you liked it.

  • @tukayandryan  Feb 20

So happy you enjoyed 'Ride the Lightning'. Thank you for you lovely comments πŸ™‚

  • @klaus Feb 19

Hi Fonte. Thanks for the comments. I appreciate it. Cheers! πŸ˜€

  • @felixfelix Feb 19

I've been experimenting a bit with the vocals on the track you commented. I re-uploaded the song Slowtracking with a mix of fuzz and clear vocals. I'd love hear your thoughts on it again!

  • @felixfelix Feb 19

I did some research, and found that there are vocals effects such as distortion build it in to my recording program. Perhaps I already took it to far with the effects, but I have loads of new inspiration, thanks again for the tip. Any suggestions on other vocals effects are very welcome.

  • @felixfelix Feb 19

Thanks for listening to my song! I was wondering, what is this vocal distortion you speak of? I am new to adding vocals to my tracks, but this sounds like something that could help my vocals a lot.

  • @eargoggle  Feb 19

the jazzers and anti jazzers should battle! Ha! that's gotta be the best comment ever...I think I will write a song about that in fact. Loving listening to your songs here too, gonna make my way through some more of them

  • @syonip Feb 18

Thanks for feedback on Last Stand!

  • @laotranati Feb 18

Thank you for your comment en CΓ³mo me deshago de ti. I'm going to sleep and see Shakira in the library πŸ˜‰

  • @dreamscuba  Feb 18

Thanks for your comments on Fool’s Gold. Appreciated.

  • @davidtaro  Feb 17

Never mind the BVs, you could do the lead any time mate πŸ˜€ Sadly that sound is plain old guitar fuzz (Big Muff to be precise). I added some harmonica to one of my other ones, but only because it was literally three notes. It's one of my biggest life regrets that I've never had the patience to learn to play one properly! Well, that and never forming that death metal band...

  • @arkka  Feb 16

    Thank you so much!

  • @nikocerza Feb 15

    Thanks for the supports πŸ˜€

  • @itoarazi Feb 15

The coughing bit is entirely apropos in this day and age!!

  • @davidtaro  Feb 14

Hey mate. David Niven was my first choice to do that spoken word bit too. Sadly he appears to have died in the 1980s...

  • @povosos  Feb 14

    Thanks for your comment πŸ˜€

  • @radioovermoscow Feb 14

The guitars on the Shakira song - what's the setup there? They sound great. The drums obviously are just there for the demo, but the guitars sound huge.

  • @radioovermoscow Feb 14

Thanks! I do like the guitar sound I get running through my Big Muff pedals into Amplitube, but I've discovered this year my voice sits better if I actually mic up an amp πŸ˜€

  • @davidtaro  Feb 12

You wanted the insight...? I started off trying to record a bluesy old time singalong type thing, and just couldn't stop adding shit to the point where it (totally accidentally) ended up sounding like a 60s track πŸ˜‚πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

  • @mikegtz  Feb 11

Thanks for coming by to visit my song! Time signature I guess would be either 2/4 or 4/4. Summer was a fun song to write and play.

  • @oswlek Feb 9

Thank you for your generous comment on "Julian". It is much appreciated. πŸ™‚

  • @cts  Feb 8

You. YOU!! YOUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!! Wow, man! Wow.

  • @squeakmouse73 Feb 8

Yep. Back, and excited to do a little bit more of the challenge, though it's slow for me so far. Yes, I want to put voice to the song. Production can be the slowest part for me, but really, the main thing is I just need to rearrange my life some. Can't wait to hear you, friend.

  • @modmiranda  Feb 8

Thank you! πŸ₯° I can’t play the piano properly, either. I use an iOS app called Thumbjam. It has some nice samples and allows me to play in scale.

  • @nahlej381  Feb 7

    Appreciate that!

  • @rickcannon Feb 6

Thanks for such an enthusiastic comment! Really glad you liked it (:

  • @quork  Feb 6

Your comment was much appreciated and meant a lot to me. Thank you.

  • @itoarazi Feb 5

Thanks a lot, my friend! I don't normally use autotune, but I felt like it fit the song.

  • @lukas Feb 4

Thanks for the comments man, appreciate it. It's open D tuning btw

  • @davidtaro  Feb 3

That McCartney comment πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I mean, you’re wrong, but I’ll take it, thanks mate!

  • @jonmeta  Feb 3

Thanks so much for busting the zong with such a good comment on my first upload. I really should remember to post the chords next time.

  • @engebretsen  Feb 3

Thx a lot for comments on "Fallen Angel" That video I would like!!!!

  • @xfloorpunchx  Feb 3

Thanks for the feedback, i appreciate!

  • @saucyjack85 Feb 3

Thank you so much for the kind words and putting ears to my tune, really appreciate it and was really nice to wake up to this morning. Not often I smile before the coffee kicks in. Took a listen to "Won't Let My Heart Be My Soldier", wonderful stuff, deffo be checking back and listening to more. Cheers!

  • @mikehex  Feb 3

Thanks for the listen and comment on Son of Swords, glad you enjoyed it!

  • @farmyardorchestra Feb 3

Happy you liked my Marilyn! A real sweetie... Best cow I ever had!

  • @itoarazi Feb 3

If they do like their toast dry, I'd rather not know them. And thanks! New one up tonight...

  • @meatcoup85  Feb 3

Thank you! Right back at you for your track - I know I could never write anything with that much soul and vibe πŸ˜€

  • @judypie  Feb 2

That’s because Pete totally plagiarised another song with In God Wet Rust πŸ˜› No, I’m just kidding, he wrote it all and I bloody love it too! Was very happy I got to sing it! He’s clever (sometimes) (not often though). Thank you for listening 😁

  • @stephentanner Feb 2

Thanks so much for your comment. Glad you liked the song. You’ve got some seriously smooth sounds going on as well. I’ll be checking again, great work.

  • @itoarazi Feb 2

Always appreciate your words, good sir!! Can't wait to hear what you bring forth!

  • @nahlej381  Feb 2

    Thanks for the listen!

  • @boyatheart Feb 1

Hey! Thanks for the message. I will do my best. Have a good one yourself and make it funky!

  • @itoarazi Jan 31

My friend!! I have, indeed, returned! So glad you can say the same!!

  • @sailingmagpie  Jan 16
